Media access at Queensland racing facilities

Racing Queensland has reviewed its current protocols governing on-course access for media during COVID-19.

Until further notice, media access to all Queensland race meetings, training centres and any other licenced facility will be limited to the following:

• Accredited broadcast service providers (SKY Racing, Channel 7, Radio TAB, PSP and On the Bit – Non-TAB) including race callers who are engaged at the meeting;
• The official on-course photography company (maximum two photographers per race club); and
• RQ appointed photographers and videographers who are providing pool services.

RQ accredited media seeking on-course access who do not meet the criteria above can request access through media@racingqueensland.com.au.

RQ may exempt accredited media on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion.

Decisions will be based on the latest Government and health advice, along with on-course numbers and amenities.
