RACE TWO

THERESACHANCE (2) has some plain numbers next to his name but he looks to have found suitable conditions here to turn it around. Trying to take them all the way last start, he was unable to go on with it as THE HERVEY BAY put him away. With the speed to lead, he just needs to pinch a panel to take them all the way.

CALL ME TRISH (1) will be further tightened from her latest outing when 2^nd up from a spell. Angled to the pegs for the short-cuts, she was left chasing as SUGARKANE cruised home to score. Down the line when resuming, the gate is a big plus and with the economical trip can be ready to strike in the stretch.

ROCKNROLL DUDE (9) was 1^st up from a let-up here last start when releasing the speed early from gate 1. Holding on for the silver behind IN THE PAPER, he will be fitter and joining in late here.

OLIVER WINKLE (7) will strip fitter from his latest outing when returning from a spell. Trapped in behind the leader at Marburg, he never saw the space to challenge. He will be probing for gaps again.

RACE THREE

JOVIAL JULIE (2) has been in consistent touch, hitting the board at her past 6 in succession. RACE FOUR

ROUSEY (4) claimed the knockout victory at her 1^st 6 starts in Qld before the inside 2^nd line was her undoing at her next 2 and saw her finish as the runner-up by small margins when starting in red figures on each occasion. Striking a tougher race at headquarters last start, the return to The Triangle looks ideal and she can bounce back.

PACIFIC COIN (5) made the trek to Tamworth last start when sent around the field from the 2^nd line to try to force the issue. Unable to go on with it, it followed a tough 2^nd from gate 6 here over the 1780m trip. The gate stings but he can press forward and get into the action to challenge.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (1) was deserted by luck last start when probing for open space but unable to force into the clear when only 5m away. With the options from the ace gate, he will be right in the fight.

DEVOUGED (9) started from this gate last start and did not have the smoothest run-in transit when mid-field behind OUR ULTIMATE HANNA. Using the passing lane to be within 3m of the winner the start prior, he can be joining in here.

RACE FIVE

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (2) has faced some tough gates in recent outings and with the improved alley here looks to get his chance to end the sequence. Forget his last start at Marburg where it just did not go to plan, the start prior he was still making solid ground from a long way back. Pressing forward can earn the breakthrough.

Appreciating a return to easier company here over the sprint trip at her next start when scoring in style, her latest run was an eye-catcher in a sharp last stanza to be within a half-head of the winner. She can challenge despite the alley.

LOVE YOUR WORK (2) resumes following a break and was last seen back in August when down the line in the Brisbane APG Final. With the good alley, he can settle handy to make an impression 1^st up.

KISSESFORYAMISSES (7) will need a rub of the green from this alley but has returned in good order from a spell. Runner-up twice and claiming a dictating win in her 3 outings, she will be probing for the openings.

IMA REGAL JET (9) started in red figures last start at Tamworth and was soon working forward to get into the contest. POSER (1) took the trail from the inside alley at Marburg last start and was left in arrears of TEACHERS PET. With the early options here, she looms as a place option.

RACE EIGHT

RACE NINE

GINA TARANTELLA (1) has been a revelation since arriving in Qld after arriving a maiden and now undefeated in her past 4 starts. The manner and margin of her wins has been breathtaking with an average winning margin over 30m. This does not really appear any harder and from the ace they should know what they are chasing.

COUNTRY RUN (2) started from inside the 2^nd line last start and was soon locked away 3 back against the poles. 3 starts back from gate 7 over the AP mile he was snagged back prior to making some strong closing metre to be 6m in arrears of the winner. He might just be able to snare the trail here which would aid his chances.

PHOTOZEN (9) has been sparingly raced since returning from an NSW trip. With just one run since October. That came over the AP 2138m trip when down the line behind FLAME LADY. He can be sharper here.

HURRIKANE KAT (5) made a mess of things last start to be banished to the ODM and was never a factor. Runner-up the start prior when looking to lead throughout, she can be thereabouts.

ESTARDAY (9) has placed in 4 of her 9 career starts and although coming up with the tricky gate, can look for the right early trail to feature in a wide-open event.
