The Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sale - the sale which produced Governor Jujon and Leos Best - will be conducted by Darren Ebert & Co at Redcliffe Paceway on Sunday, March 28, starting at 12 noon.
The sale has attracted 73 lots by 29 different sires including:
- Art Major;
- Rock N Roll Heaven;
- Sweet Lou;
- Mr Feelgood;
- Sportswriter;
- Roll With Joe;
- Betting Line;
- A Rocknroll Dance;
- Changeover;
- Hes Watching;
- For A Reason;
- Bling It On;
- Tintin In America;
- Cammibest;
- Auckland Reactor;
- Warrawee Needy; and
- Hurrikane Kingcole.
The first crop of the brilliant, young American sires Huntsville, Fear The Dragon and trotter Centurion ATM and Australian superstar Lennytheshark will also go up for auction.
Sale graduates are eligible for the QBRED for Life incentive scheme, offering $3 million in stakemoney for breeders and owners of horses bred and raced in Queensland, and the Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sale Series with a $100,000 2YO Sale Classic in 2022 and a $50,000 3YO Sale Classic in 2023.
They are also eligible for the NSW Breeders Challenge, Breeders Crown, Bathurst Gold Crown and Vicbred.
