The annual Alpha JC non-Tab Cup race meeting scheduled for Saturday 26 June has been ABANDONED due to weather/state of the track.
The Alpha racetrack recorded 33m of rainfall on Thursday night with further falls Friday morning making the track unsuitable for racing on Saturday (a postponement to Sunday was also considered but was not a viable option).
However a phantom (betting) meeting will be conducted by the club on Saturday with all facilities available.
RQ will liaise with the club regarding any future options for the rescheduling of the race meeting.
