The feature sprint race of the Mount Isa RC calendar – the Coppermart – has been rescheduled to be conducted at the Mount Isa RC TAB meeting on Thursday 12 August 2021.
The Coppermart was due to be run last Saturday, but that non-Tab meeting was abandoned due to weather.
Mount Isa officials were keen to ensure the Coppermart was conducted in 2021 and the race on 12 August will be an Open Plate (sw) over 1000m with prizemoney now boosted to $20,000.
