Racing Queensland confirms that the Sunshine Coast Turf Club race meeting today (Saturday July 3) which was postponed, will now be held on Sunday, July 11.
The decision to reschedule the meeting has been made to ensure that participants are not denied valuable metropolitan and black-type racing opportunities, and the Club retains its showcase Caloundra Cup race meeting.
The same program has been retained, however given the eight days which will elapse between the originally scheduled date and the replacement date, fresh nominations will be called for.
To that end, the revised deadline schedule for the meeting is:
- Nominations: Tuesday, July 6 at 11:00am
- Weights: Wednesday, July 7
- Acceptances: Thursday July 8, at 9:00am
- Riders: Thursday July 8, at 12:00pm

The metropolitan race meeting’s rescheduling has necessitated the movement of the previously programmed Sunshine Coast Turf Club meeting on Sunday July 11, to Tuesday July 13.
This change has resulted in amendments to the deadlines for the latter. They are:
- Nominations: Wednesday, July 7 at 11:00am
- Weights: Thursday, July 8
- Acceptances: Friday, July 9 at 9:30am
- Riders: Friday, July 9 at 12:00pm
