RQ has determined that, in line with the Queensland Government’s recent changes to border restrictions, participants from the non-restricted border zone will be able to participate (work) at Queensland race meetings.
Similarly, Queensland participants will be permitted to cross the border for work purposes at race meetings in the non-restricted border zone.
This will take effect from race meetings on Wednesday September 15, 2021.
Participants will require the relevant Queensland Government border pass (includes vaccination declaration), and will also be required to complete an RQ declaration and provide evidence of having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
An updated Racing Code Protocol Addendum and the relevant RQ declaration form will be published either later today or early Tuesday morning.
