RACE TWO SPECIAL MEANING (2) started from gate 1 last start when taking the trail but did not have a lot to offer when midfield to LIFEINHEAVEN. Asked to work hard from outside the front line and sent to sit parked the start prior, he should appreciate conditions to look for his first win of the season. THE HARRIS HAWK (4) was a winner here 3 starts back when easing from this same gate early before having the finishing power to sweep on by for the prize. 3rd to PARTY POLOTIX in a 2YO race last time, with the right transit position, he can swoop. GLENLEDI COMMANDER (5) was sent out in red figures from gate 1 last start and quickly looked for a dictating victory. Unable to see it out, he can look for the bounce back factor here. SHAKATIE (1) should secure the ideal trip in behind the speed here and be ready to take her shot via the passing lane. Closing out smartly at Marburg last start, the economical trip is a big plus.
SELECTIONS: SPECIAL MEANING (2), THE HARRIS HAWK (4), GLENLEDI COMMANDER (5), SHAKATIE (1) SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-5
RACE THREE LIFES BLACK (5) started from the 2nd line in a strong qualifier dictated by KIWIS ARE FLYING last time out. Making a three-wide move down the back stretch, he was game in defeat when just 10m away. Charging home here 2 starts back when 4m from the winner, the smaller field should suit. HENRY HU (3) started from the 2nd line last start over the AP 2138m but could not go with them when the power went on in the latter stages. Buried away and chasing behind SCARLET BABE the start prior, he can be close enough to the action to throw down a challenge. KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (1) was looking to take them all the way last start from this same gate, but the early expense of a 58 opening half proved too costly. He will be trying to fight them off. AMILLION PROMISES (2) was beaten by the wide gate last start when eased to the rear and then the tempo was against the chasers. Not suited at Marburg the start prior, he can feature here. SELECTIONS: LIFES BLACK (5), HENRY HU (3), KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (1), AMILLION PROMISES (2) SUGGESTED BET: LIFES BLACK (5) to win
RACE FOUR CINDAROCKINRELLA (6) has no favours from the wide gate but has been racing well from tough draws in recent starts. Trying to wind up in the closing stages after starting from outside the 2nd line at Marburg, she was strong to the line when beaten a head last time and can go one better. RITCHIE BEE (9) has been runner-up at his past 3 in succession, the latest here from gate 1 when leading but unable to put them away as NON PASSARE gunned him down. Grabbed late 2 starts back after pressing on from gate 5, he will be trying to launch a closing raid here. DUKE (5) was building up towards a victory after 4 successive placed efforts. Capitalising on a good gate last start, he was sent straight to the front and never headed. He can be thereabouts again. BLACKJEWEL (1) was asked to do it the tough way last start at Marburg when set to the breeze and only faded in the latter stages. An easier trip here looks more suitable. SELECTIONS: CINDAROCKINRELLA (6), RITCHIE BEE (9), DUKE (5), BLACKJEWEL (1) SUGGESTED BET: CINDAROCKINRELLA (6) to win
RACE FIVE REMEMBER BUBBLES (3) was stepping out in Qld for the 1st time over the AP mile last start and after an early dip for the lamp lighting duties, was left exposed until settling in the 1x1 trail. Finishing best to claim victory by a head, he will take benefit from the run and can look to go back-to-back. RISKY BUZINESS (1) has not had much luck with landing a marble of late and does his best work when able to set the tempo. Locked in the pocket with no passing lane last start, he was asked to graft it out when parked 2 starts back. The gate gives him every chance to cash-in. FORTYFIVE ROCK (4) was out in front from the ace last time and trying to repel the challengers, had to settle for the bronze when 3.5m in arrears. He will be firing some early bullets again here. OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (6) made a mess of things in the early stages last start and then was doing plenty of work trying to regather it. A winner at 3 of his previous 4, he can be making a closing play. SELECTIONS: REMEMBER BUBBLES (3), RISKY BUZINESS (1), FORTYFIVE ROCK (4), OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (6) SUGGESTED BET: REMEMBER BUBBLES (3) to win
RACE SIX CHUMP CHOP (3) was sent out as the fav here last start from gate 5 and after a tough trip, wilted and was banished to the trials. Earning the return with a sound effort in a strong trial, he can press forward early and gets his chance for redemption. NON PASSARE (8) could just be the toughest horse in Qld to catch. Securing the perfect trip in behind the speed last start, he found the space to make the closing play a winning one. 4m away from CALL ME TRISH the start prior, if he can get the right trip he can challenge. JILLIBY GIZMO (7) went to the line untested last start after being stuck in behind the speed at Marburg and with no lane to dart into. A tough 3rd here 3 back, he will be probing the gaps. STUDLEIGH MARK (6) was shooting for the hat-trick last start when asked to grind it out when parked. In for the fight when 6m in arrears of the winner, the gate dents his chances. SELECTIONS: CHUMP CHOP (3), NON PASSARE (8), JILLIBY GIZMO (7), STUDLEIGH MARK (6) SUGGESTED BET: CHUMP CHOP (3) to win
RACE SEVEN MY ULTIMTE CLIPPA (1) showed early hustle to take control from gate 2 over this trip 2 starts back and from the front led every step bar the one that counted when beaten a lip on the line. Not suited from outside the front-line last time out at Marburg, from this gate he gets every chance. KATACHA MAN (5) has hit the board at his past 4 on the bounce including a gritty when parked over the sprint trip and grinding away. That win was 2 starts back and was followed with a 2nd when 4m from the winner, again when asked to do it the tough way. He will likely be rolling the sleeves again. BE GOOD BENNY (8) started from gate 9 last start when settling rearward and trying to launch a closing raid when 8m shy of the winner SHE OWNS THE DAY. Look for him finishing hard. THE CASUAL GOOSE (3) was a winner here 4 starts back when taking advantage of gate 1 to lead throughout. Sent around them in the middle stages for a tough 2nd 2 starts back, he is in the mix. SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMTE CLIPPA (1), KATACHA MAN (5), BE GOOD BENNY (8), THE CASUAL GOOSE (3) SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMTE CLIPPA (1) to win
RACE EIGHT MAJOR MISCHIEF (4) was sent forward from gate 5 last time out and was able to get outside the leader. Working hard in the run, he was unable to see it out as the talented 2YO MISTY CREEK took them all the way. Just a neck away from a wide gate 3 runs back, he strikes winnable conditions. OCTOBER RACKETEER (8) tackled a much tougher contest last start over the AP mile when not too far from the winner FLIGHT CREW. Doing his share of early work the start prior here over the 2040m trip when 6m in arrears of DEVOUGED, he can trail through early to position for the challenge. HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (1) was building towards a win after finishing as the runner-up in successive starts and franked that with a swooping win here last time out. He can be ready to strike. TROPICAL STORM (9) has been meeting tougher opponents of late and should appreciate a return to this grade for his first look at The Triangle. With the right cart into the contest he can feature. SELECTIONS: MAJOR MISCHIEF (4), OCTOBER RACKETEER (8), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (1), TROPICAL STORM (9) SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR MISCHIEF (4) to win
RACE NINE BEACHBOY BUTCH (9) found the trail from gate 2 over the AP mile 3 starts back when using the passing lane to grab the bronze behind SPEAK WITH SAM. Asked to do it the tough way last start, he was grafting away outside the leader when 7m in arrears. Despite the tricky gate, he can arrive. A KERRY MAN (4) has now had 4 starts since resuming from a long break with good improvement at his latest appearance. Eased to the pegs over the AP 2138m, he was buried away before hitting the line in nice order for the bronze when 4.5m from CLASSIE AMERICAN. This looks within reach. ALWAYS BOPPING (7) will be requiring a slice of luck at some stage from this alley but he has been in nice touch of late. A strong winner 4 starts back, he was grabbed last start and will be probing. WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (3) held the 1x1 trail last start and was picking off some late metres to grab the silver when 5m in arrears of BOLTA. Not far from GELDOF the start prior can see him feature. SELECTIONS: BEACHBOY BUTCH (9), A KERRY MAN (4), ALWAYS BOPPING (7), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (3) SUGGESTED BET: BEACHBOY BUTCH (9) to win
RACE TEN SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (8) has placed at his past 2 starts, the latest from gate 9 when charging home in the closing stages for the silver behind IL MAXIMUS. 3rd to his stablemate GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE who blitzed the closing 800m 2 starts back, he finds the right conditions to descend on them. MUMMYS BOY (1) has now had 2 runs back from a spell, the latest when settling in the 1x1 trail over the AP mile. Unable to go with them when the sprint went on, he was down the line as COLONEL JOY prevailed. A big winner from the gate, he can throw down the challenge. MEGA STAR (4) was doing it the tough way last start at Marburg when sitting parked and fighting hard in a slick closing 800m to hold the bronze. Runner-up to WESTAR SAM the start prior, he can feature. WESTAR SAM (5) has no favours from the wide gate here but if there is some tempo, he can be making a closing play. Too far back last start as IL MXIMUS arrived up the lane, he can be chiming in. SELECTIONS: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (8), MUMMYS BOY (1), MEGA STAR (4), WESTAR SAM (5) SUGGESTED BET: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (8) to win
