RACE TWO

In a hot streak of form TAM OSHANTER (8) lines up looking to make it a handful of wins in succession. Sent forward from the 10m tape last start over the 2647m trip, he took control to bring them home in a smart 57.4 last 800m. From the 20m he looks hard to stop.

FATHER CHRISTMAS (1) features in a stable change to now be prepared by Jack Butler. Runner-up at his last start after finding the 1x1 trail and chasing behind KAPAI, he will be well suited from the inside lane to make the closing challenge.

IM THE COMMANDO (6) should appreciate this grade from the 10m tape after tackling some stronger events in recent outings. Making a costly error last start, he is right in the fight.

HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (5) has been kept fresh since her last assignment when making an early error but still finishing with the silver behind TAM OSHANTER. If she trots cleanly, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: TAM OSHANTER (8), FATHER CHRISTMAS (1), IM THE COMMANDO (6), HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TAM OSHANTER (8) to win

RACE THREE

Making an uncharacteristic error when the strands were released on Tuesday BOURBONONTHEROCKS (9) lost valuable ground and position. Doing well to recover and grab the bronze, if she is away safely this time, she is going well enough to atone.

IMA CALVERT ROSE (10) was shooting for the hat-trick last start when tackling the pacers over the mobile 1780m at Redcliffe. Asked to grind it out, she was unable to go with them late when fading to midfield. With both wins prior from the mobile, if she can step cleanly she can challenge.

KAPAI (6) does his best work when able to roll near the front and while he may find that tricky from the 40m impost, his win 2 starts back suggests he can feature.

SHEZA CHANCE (1) is the query runner, a former pacer making her first appearance as a square gaiter and now prepared by Lachie Manzelmann. Her conversion trials were sound

SELECTIONS: BOURBONONTHEROCKS (9), IMA CALVERT ROSE (10), KAPAI (6), SHEZA CHANCE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BOURBONONTHEROCKS (9) to win

RACE FOUR

Finding a similar set up to his last start, IM LOKI (4) can look to continue his smart form since arriving in Qld. In that last start, TICK OF THE CLOCK was in front before he came calling to take control and from the front was never in danger. A winner at his past 3 in succession, the quartet is on offer.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (1) was looking to make it a hat-trick of victories last start but found IM LOKI too slick when forced to settle with the silver. Taking them all the way at Marburg 3 starts back, he followed it with a dictating 7m win here at this trip. He can fight hard once again.

GO JO JOLT (5) was a winner from behind the leader here 2 starts back, taking a winning shot up the passing lane. Sent forward to sit parked from gate 10 last start and holding 3rd, he can place again.

WHATA OPTIMIST (8) should secure an economical trip in behind the speed and be searching for open road in the stretch to chime into the minors.

SELECTIONS: IM LOKI (4), TICK OF THE CLOCK (1), GO JO JOLT (5), WHATA OPTIMIST (8)
SUGGESTED BET: IM LOKI (4) to win

RACE FIVE

With a win drought stretching back to 2020, GETALOADATHISBRO (1) might just have found conditions to bring the winning rains. Beaten by a tough gate last start when forced to retreat before working home wide off the track, he chased gamely the start prior. He can stalk the speed to strike.

GRETELS GIRL (5) was runner-up last start after rolling forward to find position and securing the 1x1 trail. In a strong closing 800m around The Triangle, she was best of the chasers behind the in-form KOOKABURRAPRINCESS. Despite the sticky alley, she can look to challenge.

RANCHO MAN (8) made the most of gate 1 to take them all the way here 2 starts back and then held 3rd last start from this same alley. With the cosy trip he will be probing for openings.

LOOKS JUST RIGHT (2) looks the leader from this gate, although he his career has been plagued by bad barriers. After 4 runs back from a spell, he gets his chance to look to dictate.

SELECTIONS: GETALOADATHISBRO (1), GRETELS GIRL (5), RANCHO MAN (8), LOOKS JUST RIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-8

RACE SIX

ITS SUPER EASY (1)
had to overcome a tough 2nd line gate last start and from back in the pack was never a factor. Eased to find position from gate 4 the start prior, he should relish the huge improvement in barriers to keep them chasing.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (2) was a Redcliffe winner 3 starts back from the pocket trail with that form being franked by each of the next 3 across the line having all subsequently won. Hitting the line in nice style for silver behind another subsequent winner MACH TORQUE, he can throw it down.

DESTINY JANE (8) looks set to secure an easy trip in behind the speed and although mixing her form somewhat in recent outings, will be probing for the openings in the stretch.

MAGICOL IDEAL (6) eased from this same gate here on Tuesday and from back in the pack was never in the mix. With a rub of the green, he can be sharper.

SELECTIONS: ITS SUPER EASY (1), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (2), DESTINY JANE (8), MAGICOL IDEAL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ITS SUPER EASY (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

Fitter again following his latest outing when 2nd up from a spell, STRONG RESPONSE (3) can look to overcome a potentially tricky alley. A passing lane winner when resuming over the mile, he was put over the 2138m 2nd up when forced to graft it out in the breeze when holding 3rd.

CATCH PHRASE (1) comes through the recent Knights and Dames Series at Redcliffe that looks to be a solid form reference. 3rd in the final behind HEMSWORTH, 2nd placed DOCTA FEELGOOD has since claimed a victory. From this gate she gets every chance to challenge for the prize.

CHAINLINC (8) resumes from a spell after his last appearance came in the 3YO Triad Final when he chased for a midfield finish behind MANILA PLAYBOY. With a pair of smart trials, he can strike fresh.

MISSTREPO (2) was sent to the post in red figures last start from gate 1 and after leading early released the speed and then was 2.5m away up the passing lane. She can feature once again.

SELECTIONS:
STRONG RESPONSE (3), CATCH PHRASE (1), CHAINLINC (8), MISSTREPO (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

CROSSED LEGS (1)
was strong to the line here 2 starts back when wide off the track and getting to withing a half-neck of the winner STRONG RESPONSE. A wide gate and the tempo made it tough for him last start but with the improved alley, he can stalk the speed to strike in the stretch.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (9) eased from gate 7 last start to find position before finding the line in nice order to grab the silver behind SWEET SANGRIA. Relying on some tempo up front which does look to eventuate, he can be ready to make a closing challenge.

CHARLEVOIX (3) capitalised from the inside gate last start to take them all the way and run a new career PB. Grinding out a narrow win from the chair 3 starts back, he can feature again.

SHOWEM SIMON (5) has started from inside the 2nd line at each of his past 3 starts in succession, the latest when midfield over the 2138m trip. Back to the front line can see him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CROSSED LEGS (1), ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (9), CHARLEVOIX (3), SHOWEM SIMON (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

This race likely looks set to be decided within the first 200m, a speed battle off the arm to find the front going a long way to finding the winner. BIG WHEELS (7) might be just a little more push button to get across as he steps out in his 4YO term for the first time. A brilliant record at the trip can see him claim his 4th win in his past 5.

JUDDY DOUGLAS (5) likes to roll in front, but it takes him just a smidgin longer to get hot which might just be the difference. Rolling once he found the front last start when resuming from a spell, he kept them chasing all the way to claim a comfortable 11m victory. He is up to it.

CAPTAINS PICK (6) has been in super touch with 5 wins in his past 6 starts, the latest when claiming a qualifier at the mile after settling in the 1x1 trail. The gate stings but he is up to the task.

ANOTHER STATEMENT (1) should enjoy a cosy trip in behind the speed and will be fitter from his last start when resuming from a spell.

SELECTIONS: BIG WHEELS (7), JUDDY DOUGLAS (5), CAPTAINS PICK (6), ANOTHER STATEMENT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BIG WHEELS (7) to win

RACE TEN

After a sound first up effort in Qld in a mare’s qualifier, GIRL FROM OZ (6) fired the early bullets to lead from this same gate and hold on to score when 2nd up. Snagged back from gate 7 before rallying strongly when just a head from the winner after leading the three-wide train from the 650m point last time, she can arrive.

NEW YORKER (4) retreated in the early stages and from deep in the pack last start and looked to be travelling strongly with a cart home only to stall in the home stretch. A winner at both starts prior, he has early speed might just sneak away with a tricky contest.

A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (5) was snagged off the arm at the mile 3 starts back and then never in the mix after being sent out as the fav. Sent forward to lead last start over the 2138m, she fought them off to go all the way. The gate makes it tricky.

WHICH HUNT (2) was chasing when midfield in a mares contest last start and from this gate should settle close to the action. If the tempo is strong, look for her chiming in.

SELECTIONS: GIRL FROM OZ (6), NEW YORKER (4), A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (5), WHICH HUNT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GIRL FROM OZ (6) to win
