RACE TWO

With one previous visit to The Triangle when returning a 3rd placing, LE TISSIER (2) looks set to get the right trip this time around. Sitting parked over this trip two starts back, he was game in defeat to be 3m in arrears as BELLA BALL TERROR dictated. A passing lane winner last start, he gets a chance.

JUDDY DOUGLAS (4) worked straight to the front last start over the AP mile and despite the deteriorating conditions, had the power on to take them all the way in slick time. Big in defeat the start prior after sitting parked and not relenting in a sub 27 third panel, he will throw it down in this.

MAJORDOIT (7) was too gritty two starts back when scoring a first over victory at the middle distance. Finding gaps with momentum can see him chime into the money here.

MISTER HART (1) was buried away on the poles over the 2138m two starts back and finished best to claim the prize. Sound to the line last start, he has the early hustle to feature.

SELECTIONS: LE TISSIER (2), JUDDY DOUGLAS (4), MAJORDOIT (7), MISTER HART (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LE TISSIER (2) to win

RACE THREE

Fast approaching 12-months since she last tasted victory, GETALOADATHISGIRL (1) looks to have found the right set up for a return to the winner’s circle. Placed in three of her past four, she is back in touch and last start was only beaten 2m and could have been closer with a smoother passage. With all the options from the gate, she can cash-in.

SIGNOR JUJON (5) owned superior finishing speed last start at The Creek when sweeping down the outside to score in the same race where GETALOADATHISGIRL started favourite. Fading to be 3m in arrears two starts back when trying to take them all the way, he can be making the closing challenge.

ABERCROMBIE TAB (4) started from inside the second line last start and was not suited when soon hemmed away with nowhere to go. Already a winner of five from eight this term, he can feature.

GLITTER STRIP (2) sat in the pocket trail last start over the mile at headquarters in a stronger race when finishing 1m in arrears but missing the money in the blanket go. He can be handy enough to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: GETALOADATHISGIRL (1), SIGNOR JUJON (5), ABERCROMBIE TAB (4), GLITTER STRIP (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GETALOADATHISGIRL (1) to win

RACE FOUR

MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR (1)
will traverse The Triangle for the first time here and importantly comes up trumps by landing the ace. Releasing the speed over the 2138m last start, he was best of the chasers behind the in-form CALL ME KEITH which followed an unsuited outing from gate 7. From the gate he can dictate.

LETTUCEROLL (7) overcame gate 10 and the middle distance at Albion Park two starts back to sweep home for a tidy victory. Beaten by gate 7 last start when retreating early before making some late ground to grab 3rd, he is another on his first trip up the Houghton Highway to this venue but maps for the perfect trip in behind the speed.

ISOLATION (5) eased from gate 6 over the AP 2138m last start but could not get warm over the closing stages as another win was rung up by RING THE TILL. Just a half-neck away two back, he is in the mix.

WHATTA GOOD REASON (8) fired off the arm last time out to take control and was looking to take them all the way when grabbed in the last stride by ROVERLEIGH ROCKET. With the right trail he can join in.

SELECTIONS: MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR (1), LETTUCEROLL (7), ISOLATION (5), WHATTA GOOD REASON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-7-8

RACE FIVE

On the back up from Wednesday night when runner-up, PATCHWORK JET (3) was only out of the pack late to chase for the silver after starting as the favourite. In great touch at present with a top-three at his past six in succession, he has an advantage over the main dangers to look to redeem the defeat on Wednesday.

A GOOD IDEAL (4) is another on the short back up from Wednesday where he again had the opportunity from the gate and led them up before fading into 4th. Not too far away in two starts since a win prior to Wednesday night, he has speed off the arm and can be in the right place to throw down a challenge.

LOOKS JUST RIGHT (6) was obliged to grind it out when parked last start over the AP mile and in the sloppy conditions finished 5m from the winner. A winner four starts back, his record on The Triangle can see him feature despite the gate.

WHATA OPTIMIST (9) has been campaigning at The Creek and heads here to Redcliffe where his record shows one win in four attempts. The gate does him no favours, but he can feature.

SELECTIONS: PATCHWORK JET (3), A GOOD IDEAL (4), LOOKS JUST RIGHT (6), WHATA OPTIMIST (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PATCHWORK JET (3) to win

RACE SIX

SII SEMPRE TILLY (2)
has had 16 attempts at breaking the maiden tag and looks to have found the ideal conditions to get on the board. Placed at her past four in succession, the latest when grabbing the bronze behind PRESIDENT GOTTA GO, she takes her first look at this track which looks the only concern to her opening the account.

CERTAINLYCALLITIN (3) resumes from a spell and will make his first appearance for John McMullen. Fading out badly last start, he has since been back to the trials and returned an effort, that, if he can replicate in this contest, he can be sharp enough to make a challenge.

BEARS BEST (1) eased to the poles from gate 5 last start over the AP mile in what was a much tougher maiden than he faces here. Sound to the line behind MISTER CAUTIOUS, it followed a tough run when parked and he finds his chance from this alley.

SELECTIONS: SII SEMPRE TILLY (2), CERTAINLYCALLITIN (3), BEARS BEST (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SII SEMPRE TILLY (2) to win
