Tolga trainer Sharlee Hoffman and jockey Lacey Morrison look set to continue their lethal strike rate at Cluden Park in Townsville on Easter Monday.
Hoffman will start five runners in four races on the six-event program and has booked Morrison to ride three of her team.
A mother of two, Hoffman is based at Tolga on the Atherton Tablelands and has one of the best training strikes rates in Townsville.
From 78 starters, Hoffman has won 18 times with 24 placings for a winning strike rate of 23.1 per cent.
Much of her north Queensland success has been with Morrison, who has 117 rides for the stable for 32 wins and 42 placings.
At the most recent Townsville meeting on April 5, Hoffman and Morrison combined with a winning double from Narda Shar and Mister Magnusifent.
Hoffman has declared Narda Shar as her best hope in the Open Handicap over 1400 metres in which she’ll also be represented by Buxton.
Narda Shar is looking to extend his unbeaten run to four this campaign after leading all the way for a dominant win by more than three lengths in his latest Townsville victory.
Buxton – a Leanne McCoy mount - has had two starts back this campaign and is coming off last start fifth to the Royal Chillemi-trained Bet On Love at Atherton on April 9.
