Following a track inspection this morning, the Innisfail Turf Club non-TAB Cup meeting on Saturday, May 21 has been abandoned due to weather/state of the track.
On top of heavy falls received earlier this month, over 35mm of rainfall has been recorded in the past 24 hours at Pease Park racecourse making the track unsuitable for racing.
Due to the abandonment, additional races have been added to upcoming race meetings in the Far North region. They are:
Cairns Jockey Club - Sunday, May 29
Innisfail Turf Club - Saturday, June 4
