Weather-affected Queensland meetings

In total, 26 race meetings across the state have been affected by the recent wet weather. They are:

May 7, 2022

• Toowoomba Turf Club – final four races abandoned due to rain; and
• Burrandowan Picnic Race Club – races two to five abandoned due to rain.

May 11, 2022

• Sunshine Coast Turf Club – was Gold Coast Turf Club then transferred to SCTC Polytrack;
• Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club – abandoned after race five (lost five races); and
• Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club – abandoned (lost 10 races).

May 12, 2022

• Cains Jockey Club – postponed due to rain to May 16; and
• Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club – postponed to May 14, and then abandoned on May 14. Brisbane Young Guns heats and Carnival Chase heats rescheduled to May 19.

May 13, 2022

• Kilcoy Race Club – postponed to May 17, and moved to Toowoomba Turf Club; and
• Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club – abandoned (lost 10 races).

May 14, 2022

• Brisbane Racing Club – rescheduled from Doomben to Eagle Farm for Doomben 10,000 Day;
• Gold Coast Turf Club – moved from GCTC to Sunshine Coast Turf Club Polytrack;
• Toowoomba Turf Club – final two races abandoned due to rain;
• Bundaberg Race Club – abandoned due to rain;
• Jandowae Race Club – abandoned due to rain;
• Central Warrego Race Club – abandoned and rescheduled to May 29; and
• Hughenden Jockey Club – rescheduled from Hughenden to Mount Isa.

May 15, 2022

• Sunshine Coast Turf Club – transferred to Polytrack;
• Longreach Jockey Club – abandoned; and
• Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club – abandoned (lost 12 races). Postponed to May 18 and subsequently abandoned. 

May 18, 2022

• Ipswich Turf Club – rescheduled to Sunshine Coast Turf Club Polytrack.

May 21, 2022      

• Gold Coast Turf Club – abandoned due to rain;
• Nanango Race Club – abandoned due to rain;
• Innisfail Turf Club – abandoned due to rain; and
• Brisbane Racing Club - Doomben - postponed and rescheduled.

May 22, 2022

• Sunshine Coast Turf Club – meeting Transferred to Polytrack.

May 25, 2022

• Brisbane Racing Club - Doomben – rescheduled to May 30.
