RACE ONE

TIZ A SIZZLER (10) was asked to sit parked last start over the mile in a small field where he faded in the latter stages after a pair of sub 27 quarters on the way home. A brave 4th two starts back when doing all the work in the run, despite the gate he looks to have the edge.

BLACK HAWK JOE (1) made the most of this gate over the mile last start when darting through to keep them wide and then seeing it out in a 1.53 trip. Breaking three from the spot three back on the poles to score three runs back, he has the gate to issue a challenge.

GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (8) secured the trail from this gate last Saturday and held on for the silver behind LOVE YOUR WORK. Gate 6 was his undoing the start prior, and he can chime in here.

PERFECT CUT (4) was sent around them from the second line last time out and working hard in the run was able to graft out the silver behind ROCKIN WITH ELVIS. He can get forward to feature.

SELECTIONS: TIZ A SIZZLER (10), BLACK HAWK JOE (1), GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (8), PERFECT CUT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: TIZ A SIZZLER (10) to win

RACE TWO

After starting from this same gate last time out in a qualifier, FRANCO NANDOR (8) couldn’t muster in the stretch over the 2138m, finishing 4m in arrears of the leader and winner GLENLEDI COMMANDER. Runner-up at the mile the start prior behind GENERAL MONTANA, he can snipe.

ITZ MAJOR RICH (1) eased from gate 5 last start to settle rearward and from there was making nice metres in the closing stages to be 5m in arrears of the winner. Chasing TARGARYEN two starts back when 8m astern, the improved gate is a huge plus to open the options to challenge.

ISOLATION (5) was a Redcliffe winner two starts back after being sent forward from a wide gate, taking control and holding on for the prize. Gate 10 hurt his hopes last start and he can feature here.

WHATABOYJACK (7) receives no favours from the wide gate for this contest, but he has been in super form with 5 wins in his past 9 outings. Powering home to score last start, he can join in again.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO NANDOR (8), ITZ MAJOR RICH (1), ISOLATION (5), WHATABOYJACK (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANCO NANDOR (8) to win

RACE THREE

This race is the consolation of race 4- the 70Final where from the heats, BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (9) was unlucky not to have progressed. Obliged to work hard in the run first over, he was fighting hard to the line in finishing 4m from TARGARYEN in a slick 53.5 mile. A winner at 3 of his previous 4, he can gain some redemption.

ALTA SENSATION (1) started from inside the second line here on Tuesday and was soon shuffled back in the run over the 2138m and never really got a crack at them. Strong to the line in his heat when 5m from TARGARYEN, the improved gate is a huge help to his chances of challenging.

CONVAIR HUSTLER (4) was resuming from a spell in his heat at Redcliffe where he was fired off the arm from gate 4 to lead. Setting a strong tempo, he was only collared late, with added fitness a plus.

FLO RYDA (10) will be relying on some tempo to get into the contest in the closing stages. Making nice metres along the inside last start, he can be making a closing play.

SELECTIONS: BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (9), ALTA SENSATION (1), CONVAIR HUSTLER (4), FLO RYDA (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

This looks a cracking 70Final with a front line full of speed. TRIPLE FOUR (8) was runner-up in his heat from gate 10, tracking home smartly wide out to be 3m from the winner TARGARYEN. Beaten by gate 6 when 6m away since that heat run, he will be stalking the speed here ready to strike.

CLASSIE WASHINGTON (7) was returning from a freshen in his heat last Friday where he faced gate 10. Moving up stylishly down the back stretch, he put them away in impressive fashion, pulling clear to claim a 19m margin. A winner in 5 of 6 here at The Creek, this will be his biggest test.

TARGARYEN (2) resumed from a spell first up for the Butler stable and from gate 1, took the trail. Using the passing lane, it was a handy first up effort to grab a 3m margin. He is right in this.

HY VOLTAGE (1) was 3rd in a similar Final four starts back when taking control from gate 4 and only grabbed in the closing stages. An all the way winner two starts back, he will be setting the target.

SELECTIONS: TRIPLE FOUR (8), CLASSIE WASHINGTON (7), TARGARYEN (2), HY VOLTAGE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TRIPLE FOUR (8) to win

RACE FIVE

Beaten by gate 6 last time out after having an early dip, BOTTLE ROCK (2) finished midfield as CAPTAIN SHUFFLES laid out an electric 51.5 mile from the front. Tackling the JC McMullen two starts back as BETTOR ISOLATE decimated them, he finds conditions to capitalise from this alley.

TEAGAN BANNER (10) was sent to the post as the favourite last start in a qualifier from gate 4. Pressing ahead to find the front, he was unable to repel the closing challenge of WHATA ROLLER, holding on for the silver. Just a neck from ONE BIG SHEW two back, he can throw it down here.

CALA JANE (7) receives no favours from this alley and will wide at some stage trying to get into the money. Runner-up at her past two in succession in mare’s qualifiers, she is a podium hope.

LUCKY NUTTER (5) started from the second line at her latest appearance in a mare’s event and was making some nice metres in the closing stages to get within a head of the winner. She can join in.

SELECTIONS: BOTTLE ROCK (2), TEAGAN BANNER (10), CALA JANE (7), LUCKY NUTTER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BOTTLE ROCK (2) to win

RACE SIX

BRIDGE COIN (6)
was sked to sit parked on Tuesday, fading after the tough trip which had followed an easy trip behind the speed where he could not reel them in. A tidy effort here four runs back after easing from gate 7, he is again given no favours from this gate, but finds a race where he might just be able to turn it around.

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (1) will take further benefit from his latest offering where he was 3rd up from a spell. Sent out as the fav from this alley over the 2138m trip, he released and then didn’t have the hustle when the speed went on. A return to the mile from this gate appeals.

MAJOR MISCHIEF (2) held on for 3rd last start at Redcliffe in a race that had plenty of early action. Taking some benefit from that run where he was third up, he has the gate to feature.

ARTISTIC SAINT (5) fired out from gate 3 last week at the 2138m and was setting a solid tempo. On weary legs turning for home, he battled gamely to hod 4th and can be thereabouts again here.

SELECTIONS: BRIDGE COIN (6), IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (1), MAJOR MISCHIEF (2), ARTISTIC SAINT (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Adding another minor to the tally last start when 3rd, MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (5) has hit the board in 6 of his past 8 starts. 3m from the winner BIG WHEELS last time, it was just a half-neck margin the start prior behind THE HONEY QUEEN. Staring down 12 months without a win, this looks within reach.

OBI ONE (2) eased to find position last start and hemmed away on the poles, maintained ground in a sizzling last half of 53.3. Chasing behind ROCKIN WITH ELVIS the start prior over the 2138m trip, he can take an early look here and be handy enough to challenge.

ROCK BOTTOM (6) was sent out as the fav last start from 5 over the mile but in the small field could not reel them in when just 5m astern of the winner. Shooting for a hat-trick two back, the gate stings.

ESCALERA (1) eased from gate 3 last time out and was soon buried back on the poles, chasing in vain as BIG WHEELS landed the prize. Not far from DELIGHTFUL DUDE two back, the gate is a huge help.

SELECTIONS: MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (5), OBI ONE (2), ROCK BOTTOM (6), ESCALERA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

Still chasing his first Qld victory, HES PERFECTLY IDEAL (4) might just have found the right conditions for the breakthrough. Finding the front at Redcliffe last start, he could not see it out when finishing 4m from the winner ALTANA BLUE. He can press ahead from this gate to make his play.

SHESA POCKETROCKET (6) has been in consistent touch in recent outings, hitting the board at her past six in succession. Using the passing lane last start to hold 3rd behind GUNNA NEEDAMARGARITA, she has no favours from this alley but with the right trip in this line up can challenge.

BULLDOG BRAWLER (2) will take further benefit from his latest outing where he was second up from a spell. Off the second line in both return runs, he was 6m away last start and did not have the smoothest passage. A return to the front helps.

GABBYS IDEAL (7) eased from gate 5 to find position last time out and then with the right trip and tempo was able to descend on them to claim victory. The gate dents the repeat chances.

SELECTIONS: HES PERFECTLY IDEAL (4), SHESA POCKETROCKET (6), BULLDOG BRAWLER (2), GABBYS IDEAL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HES PERFECTLY IDEAL (4) to win

RACE NINE

Stepping up to the stronger grade last time out, KING OF THE NORTH (5) started in red figures over the 2647m trip but could only manage a 6th placing behind GEE UP NEDDY. A winner at his previous three in succession, he can bounce back to winning form.

KAR MANOR (11) started from this same handicap over this trip last time out where he was sent around the field in the early stages to sit parked. Grafting it out to the wire, he came up a head short of victory. A beaten fav two starts back, similar conditions to last start can produce a similar return.

RIGONDEAUX (9) was much better two starts back under mobile conditions after starting from outside the second line. Putting it together for victory last time from a 10m impost, he can join in.

MILLY AN EYRE (1) started from this lane last week where she was hemmed away in the run before chiming in for the bronze, 4m from the winner RIGONDEAUX. She can be feature again here.

SELECTIONS: KING OF THE NORTH (5), KAR MANOR (11), RIGONDEAUX (9), MILLY AN EYRE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: KING OF THE NORTH (5) to win

RACE TEN

He may not be able to boast a win this season and while his numbers are not overly inspiring, KINGDOM COME (1) might just have found the set up to regather some winning form. Making some nice metres last week behind VAN SNAK at the mobile, he can settle much closer to the action to take the closing shot.

MORE SHADES OF GOLD (6) looks well placed in this contest from 10m, but as always it will be his starting manners that will be vital to his performance. Making an error from the mobile last time when resuming from a spell, it followed a scratchy start from the tapes at Redcliffe. He is in this.

FATHER CHRISTMAS (4) has been racing consistently in recent outings, hitting the board at his past six in succession which includes a win here three starts back when asked to do it the tough way. He can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: KINGDOM COME (1), MORE SHADES OF GOLD (6), FATHER CHRISTMAS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: KINGDOM COME (1) to win
