RACE ONE GINGER MICKY (8) looked for an all the way victory last start over the 2138m at HQ but was unable to see it out when fading in the closing stages. Hemmed away against the poles here two starts back, he will be relying on some tempo to power home over the top. ARNOLD STREET (3) had the early speed to dart across and take control over the AP mile three starts back. Never headed thereafter, he has met tougher contests in both runs since that victory. He can fire the early bullets here to issue the challenge. OCTOBER RACKETEER (9) has been sectionally strong in recent outings and added another minor to his tally last start. Facing the second line at Marburg when strong, he can be chiming in again. OLIVER WINKLE (1) will take benefit from his last start when resuming from a spell. RACE TWO MY ULTIMATE BONDI (6) showed some early hustle before finding cover last time out when not too far from the smart winner ANIMADO. Buried in the run two starts back when angled to the poles from outside the second line, he can press on with it here and look to assert supremacy. ONLYSBEST (9) was unplaced off the second line at Marburg last start yet was still able to reel off some smart closing panels around the tight track. A handy effort from a wide gate two starts back behind ALTA REVELRY, he can be making a closing challenge here. ROYAL PRINCESS (1) is a seven-time winner on this deck and lands the gate to hunt down another. Beaten by a wide gate at Marburg last start, she can be in the right position to make a play. MOTU CULLEN (2) started form the second line last start and was never in the mix as MAYWYN TROUBADOR dictated in front. Wide gates hampered his chances prior to that. SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE BONDI (6), ONLYSBEST (9), ROYAL PRINCESS (1), MOTU CULLEN (2) SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE BONDI (6) to win
RACE THREE ROLLED IN GOLD (1) is moving ever closer to a drought busting win and might just have found the conditions for the breakthrough. Runner-up over the AP mile last start, she was game to the line when just 1m from JANG PEL after working in the run. The gate gives her every chance. WESTERN SHOWGIRL (7) will be hoping the pole marker looks for an all the way effort, as that should have her firmly in the sniper’s lair, waiting to pull the trigger. Runner-up to the in-form MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA last start from the pocket trail, she will be awaiting the gaps. CHUMP CHOP (8) was asked to sit parked over the 2040m trip last start and was game in holding on for the bronze. Wide gates have hurt in recent starts with a cover trail here helping his claims. ARTS PEREGRINE (5) was first up for the new stable two starts back when leading them deep into the stretch, only to be rounded up. Charging over the top last start, the gate dents the repeat hopes. SELECTIONS: ROLLED IN GOLD (1), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (7), CHUMP CHOP (8), ARTS PEREGRINE (5) SUGGESTED BET: ROLLED IN GOLD (1) to win
RACE FOUR THE SPORTZ STAR (1) has placed in 3 of his 6 attempts here on The Triangle and lands the right gate to look to secure his first victory in the Sunshine State. Not suited from tough gates at his past two appearances at headquarters, he has the hustle or the options here to capitalise. With tough gates in all three runs back form a spell, he secures the chance for an easy trip. HE SAID SHE SAID (8) was strong to the line wide of the track last start when grabbing the silver behind FRANCO MACHO. Missing the Peak of the Creek Final from his run two back, he can feature. WOODLEA DIEGO (2) has a pair of luck lustre efforts sitting beside some smart performances at his past 4 starts. The 2138m could be the culprit and back to a sprint trip here can be sharper. SELECTIONS: THE SPORTZ STAR (1), BONNIES CAM (7), HE SAID SHE SAID (8), WOODLEA DIEGO (2) SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-8
RACE FIVE JAY TEE TYRON (9) was a winner at The Creek three runs back when sent to the front from gate 5 and defying the challengers to claim a 5m margin. Chasing behind subsequent winner HIPSTAR at his next appearance, he finds a race that looks well within his reach despite an awkward gate. MISS MIA (3) was sent to the post as fav last time out at Marburg from gate 2 but was unable to get across and then received cover for the 1x1 trail. Unable to reel in the leader and winner NIGHT NINJA, she was not too far away here two back. Firing early bullets aid her chances. MYSTICAL JAZZ (4) was a winner here six starts back but has been unable to get into the money in the five starts since. Beaten by a second line gate at Marburg last time, she is a podium hope here. BEEF CITY BLAZE (8) has worked his way back down the ratings but might just find the conditions to grab some minor money here. Too far back at Marburg last time, this is more appealing. SELECTIONS: JAY TEE TYRON (9), MISS MIA (3), MYSTICAL JAZZ (4), BEEF CITY BLAZE (8) SUGGESTED BET: JAY TEE TYRON (9) to win
RACE SIX TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1) had an early look last start from gate 4 last start at Marburg but ultimately had to ease back to find position. KOTARE ELITE (4) is yet to snare a victory on this deck, returning 3 minors from her 10 attempts. Firing out form gate 3 and looking to take them all the way last start, she was unable to finish them off as VERMONT powered over the top. From the gate she will be throwing down the challenge. JUST ONE GOOD ONE (9) faced gate 5 last start and retreated early to settle rearward before trying to make a closing play as JAMAICAN RESORT prevailed. He will be wide at some point. SELECTIONS: TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1), KOTARE ELITE (4), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (9), PERFECT FEELING (7) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE SEVEN ARTFUL MASTER (7) faces the awkward alley and will be looking to find a way clear before waiting for the passing lane. Backing up from Thursday at HQ where he lost momentum before regathering to grab the bronze behind ACE LOMBO. 3rd to VODKA EN ICE two back, he is right up to taking this. NICKY KHAN (2) was a beaten fav at Tamworth last start when firing off the arm from gate 2 at the mile. Grabbed in the closing stages to be just 2m from the winner, he led throughout to open his account four runs back, pulling clear to a 6m margin. He has the early speed to throw it down. SABOTAGE (5) resumes from a spell after joining the Amy Cargill stable since her last outing. That was a win in this track when arriving in the last stride to break the maiden status. TIN AMBER MINE (8) is just a 2YO tackling the older horses here as he resumes from a spell. Just 5m away from the handy CARTER GRANT at his last run before being shut down, he can chime in fresh. SELECTIONS: ARTFUL MASTER (7), NICKY KHAN (2), SABOTAGE (5), TIN AMBER MINE (8) SUGGESTED BET: ARTFUL MASTER (7) to win
RACE EIGHT WILD ABOUT TOWN (2) is at his best if he can light the lamps and he looks get to match that pattern from the good gate here. Fading out two starts back at the AP mile, he should also appreciate a return to The Triangle where he can look to capitalise. SONNY ORLANDO (8) rolled forward from gate 4 to sit parked last start and after the tough trip over the AP mile was fighting hard when 6m from the winner. Just 4m from SIGNOR JUJON the start prior, the second line makes it tougher, but he should find this opposition easier than recent outings. CROSSED LEGS (5) was buried from inside the second line last start and never featured when midfield. Not suited when parked two starts back, she can chime in here. ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6) made an error last time and cops the ODM. Taken to the Marburg trials since that error, he returned a smart hit out and despite the gate impediment has podium claims. SELECTIONS: WILD ABOUT TOWN (2), SONNY ORLANDO (8), CROSSED LEGS (5), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE NINE WHATA REACTOR (2) should relish the opportunity to be back in the draw after a couple of runs on the ODM embargo. With good early speed when she can behave, she finds the ideal conditions to step to the front and look to take them all the way. RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (5) was well supported to run fav two starts back from this same gate where he settled rearward and never got into the contest as MUSTANG DUDE took them all the way. Easing into the trail last start, he finds a suitable race to chase the drought breaker. VALKYRIE HANOVER (1) looks set to enjoy the soft trip in behind he speed and from there can be looking to fill the minors. HARRY CROFT (8) was a winner here four starts back when working home wide off the track to take the prize. With the right trail in the early stages, he can make a late raid. SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (2), RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (5), VALKYRIE HANOVER (1), HARRY CROFT (8) SUGGESTED BET: WHATA REACTOR (2) to win
