Gold Coast Turf Club meeting transferred to Polytrack

Racing Queensland advises that due to the commencement of the track refurbishment works which are due to be undertaken at the Gold Coast Turf Club, the club’s race meeting scheduled for January 28 has now been transferred to the Polytrack.

The change has necessitated amendments to some race distances on the program. They are:

• Benchmark 65 Handicap - was 1800m, is now 1900m;
• Benchmark 68 Handicap - was 2200m, is now 2000m;
• Maiden Plate – was 1400m, is now 1540m;
• 3YO Benchmark 65 Handicap – was 1300m, is now 1200m;
• 3YO Maiden Plate – was 1800m, is now 1900m; and
• 2YO Handicap - was 900m, is now 1050m.

The distances of the remaining races on the program remain as have been previously published.
