TAB has announced a game-changing partnership with Queensland’s fastest growing race clubs that will innovate the race day experience and bring punters closer to the action via our television and radio assets.
For the next 5 years TAB will be the official wagering partner of the:
- Gold Coast Turf Club;
- Sunshine Coast Turf Club;
- Ipswich Turf Club; and
- Toowoomba Turf Club.
The partnership will include the development of major race day activations, new media content via the TAB App and enhanced coverage of the race clubs via Sky Racing and Radio TAB.
Tabcorp’s Chief Customer Officer Jenni Barnett said that this is a new era for us in Queensland.
“These are more than wagering sponsorships, they’re genuine partnerships to use our entire ecosystem to grow each club," she said.
"From creating activations that attract people to the track to using our media network to promote each club.
“TAB is the only company that offers a digital, retail, television and radio broadcast capability to assist each club to innovate and grow.
"We’re really excited with what we can achieve in each community.”
Ms Barnett said TAB deliberately sought to partner with some of the region’s most innovative clubs.
“This is an opportunity for us to help grow Queensland’s richest race day in Magic Millions, innovate night racing and partner with the clubs as they host more Saturday metropolitan race meetings," she said.
“We’re rapidly transforming TAB with a new TAB App, new products on the way and a revamped retail experience. We’re customer obsessed in everything we do and we’re really excited about the growth opportunities moving forward."
