RACE ONE

Another three-year-old trot event where the last winner KENETURIO (6) can look to rinse and repeat. Sent to the front from gate 4 when returning from a spell in the first of the season, she was never in danger in claiming an 11m margin. Despite the wide gate, she looks up to the task.

HIDE AND SEEK (7) cops the ODM embargo after an error last start from gate 1 that ended his winning hopes. Regathering and chasing to hold on for the bronze behind KENETURIO, he should take some benefit from the run where he was second up. He needs to bring some manners.

DEXTROUS DEXTER (5) was a winner in the first of the 3YO only events here two weeks back when finding the front and pulling away to an easy 17m margin. Runner-up last time, he has claims again.

MIX IT UP (1) was banished to the trials after making errors last time out and finishing at the tail of the field as DEXTROUS DEXTER claimed the prize. He gets the gate to chase redemption.

SELECTIONS: KENETURIO (6), HIDE AND SEEK (7), DEXTROUS DEXTER (5), MIX IT UP (1)
SUGGESTED BET: KENETURIO (6) to win

RACE TWO

Placed once in her four appearances on this deck, KELLY LOUISE (4) should appreciate this class of opposition. Showing the hustle to take control here two start back when fading late, she was not too far from the smart MISS BAY KING COLE last start. Darting across early, she looks hard to stop.

MY CHINA DOLL (6) was picking off some late metres last start when chasing behind FAKE CULLECTION. Beaten by gate 6 when forced to retreat two starts back, she was closing hard three back when just a pimple short of victory. Despite a tough gate, she can issue a challenge.

GEORGEZILLA (1) was beaten by gate 6 last time he ventured here to The Creek but should be better suited from the tight gate here. Fading last start at Marburg, the big track should be a plus.

AROONA (2) has been campaigning on The Triangle, with his last visit here to HQ in September of 2021. In a race that looks wide open for the minor money, he can be close enough to chime in.

SELECTIONS: KELLY LOUISE (4), MY CHINA DOLL (6), GEORGEZILLA (1), AROONA (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KELLY LOUISE (4) to win

RACE THREE

A winner here two starts back from gate 5 when darting across to take control, SARASUN (1) looks to come up with all the options to chase another victory. Shuffled out of it from inside the second line last start, she can secure the trip to capitalise.

TUINGSTEN TERROR (5) was ideally suited under the one lap get out and go format at Redcliffe three starts back and finding the front from gate 5 was able to see it out. Beaten by the second line at his next start, he was collared in the closing stages last start. He will be gripping on in front here.

WHATA TERROR (8) was runner-up on successive occasions before his latest start when beaten by the outside front line over the Redcliffe 2040. With the soft trip here, he can stalk the speed.

THE GROGMOTHER (4) fired out from gate 2 and taking control over the Redcliffe 1780 was under 6m from the winner COURAGEOUS SAM when the judge called a halt. She can feature here.

SELECTIONS: SARASUN (1), TUINGSTEN TERROR (5), WHATA TERROR (8), THE GROGMOTHER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SARASUN (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Sent to the post as the fav last start from outside the second line, CARTER GRANT (2) secured the 1x1 trail early but had to settle for 2nd behind JAY TEE TYRON. A winner when leading throughout here three runs back, he can force the issue early and look to capitalise.

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (9) was making late metres here three runs back to grab the silver behind JAY TEE TYRON, finishing just a head in arrears of the winner after starting from outside the second line. Runner-up to ELOUISA DALE last time out, she can follow through early to make a play here.

BLING THE LUCK (5) put together four successive wins at Redcliffe before tackling mare’s qualifiers at each of her past three. Barriers have bene against her in the past two and in this grade, she has claims.

PEPPA BLISS (10) was asked to do it the tough way last start when sitting parked and finishing 4m from the winner NAVAGIO. 3m from TORQUE LIKE MOTION two back, she can feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: CARTER GRANT (2), GOLDIES A DELIGHT (9), BLING THE LUCK (5), PEPPA BLISS (10)
SUGGESTED BET: CARTER GRANT (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Still chasing his first win here at The Creek, STANDANDELIVER (3) looks ready to claim the prize. Luckless last start from inside the second line when needing the gap to arrive sooner, he was game in defeat when beaten a half-neck two back. This looks the right set up for him to deliver.

ELOUISA DALE (7) claimed a mare’s qualifier last start when sent forward from gate 4 to take control and once in front was able to see it out in a new PB. Taken back form wide gates in both previous starts, the gate makes it a tough ask here, but the right tempo can see her issue a challenge.

FRANCO NATHAN (2) faced the outside front line two starts back and closed out in good order when midfield behind STRONG RESPONSE. 4m away last start, he can be close enough to feature here.

TERROR FLYING (10) was first up in 12 months last time out when taking control and leading throughout over the Redcliffe 1780. This is harder and the gate makes it tougher again.

SELECTIONS: STANDANDELIVER (3), ELOUISA DALE (7), FRANCO NATHAN (2), TERROR FLYING (10)
SUGGESTED BET: STANDANDELIVER (3) to win

RACE SIX

Returning from a spell last start CUSTOM NIKE (2) faced gate 7 and after snagging back to find position, was then too far back as EXCITING TIME controlled it in front. Landing her best gate since arriving in Qld, she can force the issue and keep them rolling in front.

JILLIBY CHAMBERS (9) can look to follow through in the early stages to get in a handy position and settled near the action would be a big player in this contest. Collared in the closing strides last start when taking control from gate 4, she can be ready to issue the closing challenge.

A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (1) waslading too far back last start after retreating from a wide gate at Redcliffe. With the soft trip expected here, she can be in a position to grab some minor money.

COURAGEOUS SAM (8) overcame the outside front line gate at Redcliffe last start when working home strongly wide off the track to score. He can be tucked away here ready for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: CUSTOM NIKE (2), JILLIBY CHAMBERS (9), A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (1), COURAGEOUS SAM (8)
SUGGESTED BET:  CUSTOM NIKE (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

Claiming a similar 70Final four starts back when taking them all the way from gate 4, MELTON BEACH (6) has been faced with some tough gates in his three runs since. Snagged back from gate 7 last time and then too far out of the ground to eat into the deficit, he can get forward to stake his claim.

BANGKOK DEEJAY (9) will be second up from a spell after heading South to Newcastle last start for a tilt at the Hunter Championships. A beaten fav after being forced to work hard in the run, he should tighten from the appearance and with the right trip can throw it down off tempo.

DANCE FOR GLORY (3) is back in Qld, joining the Dixon stable and lines up with a smart record from his previous outings here at The Creek. 7m away last start at Penrith, he can get forward to feature.

STOMPEM (1) is never too far from the action when he draws for the soft trip like he does here. Copping the outside front or second line at his past three in succession, the pegs will be a nice respite here.

SELECTIONS: MELTON BEACH (6), BANGKOK DEEJAY (9), DANCE FOR GLORY (3), STOMPEM (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MELTON BEACH (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

Making her first appearance in Qld on Sat night ion a mare’s qualifier, OH DADDY (2) was not helped by facing the outside second line gate and trying to make a wide move when the speed started to go on. Back to the front line where she can show her arm hustle, she can find the position to capitalise.

KADAR (3) steps out in Qld for the first time as part of the Cernovskis visiting team. Arriving from Tasmania where his last start came from a 20m handicap in early April, his last win came in July last year. Settling handy from the good gate, he stays under notice here fresh up.

MIDNIGHT CALM (6) has had a mixed start to his campaign to date, placing just once in four appearances. Bereft of luck last start when eased from gate 5 and never spotting a gap, the gate makes it a tough ask.

ASTERISM (10) was asked to graft it out first over last start at Redcliffe and was game to the wire when 6m away from the winner. Relying on some tempo, he can be finishing off.

SELECTIONS: OH DADDY (2), KADAR (3), MIDNIGHT CALM (6), ASTERISM (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

Facing another tricky gate for this assignment, MY ULTIMATE LEVI (8) has had very little go his way in three runs for the Matt Elkins barn. Required to work in pressing forward last start when midfield behind APOLLO DREAM, the start prior he was beaten a half-head from gate 6. He just needs to spot the gap in time to arrive.

POLKA DELIGHT (9) makes her first appearance in Qld as a new member of the Dixon stable and arrives with a last start 2nd at Newcastle from the second line. Faced with some tough gates in recent starts, she can follow through early to find position and issue a challenge.

STRONG RESPONSE (3) continued his strong form last start when sent to the front from gate 2 and once in control was never in danger after starting deep into the red. He is right in the fight again.

SHADOW MINISTER (5) found the pocket trail at Redcliffe two starts back and with the perfect trip had the closing speed to arrive. Beaten by gate 12 and a handy one in LEAP TO FAME last start, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE LEVI (8), POLKA DELIGHT (9), STRONG RESPONSE (3), SHADOW MINISTER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE LEVI (8) to win
