The Tattersall’s Tiara is the winter aim for More Prophets.

Connections of last start stakes winner More Prophets hope to continue making the most of her second chance at a racing career with a Group 1 target next on the radar.

Trainer John Thompson confirmed the mare would be aimed towards the Tattersall's Tiara over 1400 metres at the back-end of the Brisbane winter carnival after doing well during a recent freshen-up.

"She will go towards the Group 1, but she will go to the Dane Ripper Stakes first," Thompson said.

"She had two weeks out; she came in on Friday and she looks terrific.

"She's going well. That's obviously another step up but mares in form, when they're running well, they're running well."

More Prophets was plagued by wide barriers during the autumn carnival in Sydney and when she finally came up with a low draw in the Group 3 Dark Jewel Classic over 1400 metres at Scone she bungled the start.

But, the six-year-old had the class to overcome it, angling to the outside in the straight and rushing home to land an overdue black-type win.

It was a sweet victory for connections as More Prophets was retired to stud in the spring, only getting a second shot on the racetrack after failing to get into foal to Pierro.

The Dane Ripper Stakes over 1300 metres is at Eagle Farm on June 10 with the $700,000 Tattersall's Tiara over 1400 metres two weeks later.

Thompson was in the winner's stall at Randwick on Saturday with the progressive Crafty Eagle taking out the Midway Handicap over 1200 metres, the three-year-old downing the older horses to land his third win in six starts.
