RACE ONE

WESTERN ARTERRA (8)
is the query runner, arriving with Jonah Hutchinson first up off a let up. Last raced in early May when not too far from subsequent Redcliffe Derby winner ROCKNROLL HAMMER, he hit the line strongly two starts back from deep field. He looks up to the task here.

FAST TRACKER (1) gives away plenty of points on the ratings and is winless at the middle trip but has the benefit of the gate advantage. Asked to grind it out first over last start, he was game in holding on for the silver behind CAPTAIN SHUFFLES. With the early options he can challenge.

ASTERISM (3) lands the closest to the pegs in recent starts and will likely press forward to take his opportunity. Finding front from gate 5 before fading late over the AP mile last start, he can feature.

SUGAR FOR MY HONEY (7) held on for 3rd last start behind CAPTAIN SHUFFLES after having an early look and then landing the 1x1 trail. With the soft trip, she will be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: WESTERN ARTERRA (8), FAST TRACKER (1), ASTERISM (3), SUGAR FOR MY HONEY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WESTERN ARTERRA (8) to win

RACE TWO

ROCKSLIDE (7) was a winner here three starts back when settled in the running lien and owning the closing power to descend over the top of them. Gate 5 made the task too great at his next appearance and while he will be relying on some luck, he can charge through the gap to capitalise.

BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (6) started from inside the second line last time out and was buried in the run when trying to make a late raid when finishing 2m from the winner. A tough 2nd here three starts back when parked and just 2m from ALTA CLASSIC, he can get forward to throw down the heat.

GELDOF (1) settled in the 1x1 trail last start from gate 3 and was sound to the line when 5m from the winner. He secures his chance to punch through from the pole and take his shot.

ROYAL PRINCESS (2) drew inside the second line last start and was eased off the inside to sit parked the last 1000m. Grafting out a strong win by a bare margin, she can look to feature again here.

SELECTIONS: ROCKSLIDE (7), BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (6), GELDOF (1), ROYAL PRINCESS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-7

RACE THREE

JILLIBY CHAMBERS (1)
looks to have found the conditions for a breakthrough and can defy her figure form to look for the cash here. Having a tilt in mare’s qualifying company at her past three starts and not really having much go her way, she can burrow through here and avail the options thereafter.

MIKI MAGIC (8) is staring down a hat-trick of victories after a Marburg win was followed by an all the way effort here last start. Pressing on with it to take control and see it out in good time, she will be relying on some tempo here to descend on them.

BETTYS LASS (5) has been runner-up her past two, the latest when charging hard from the rear to be just an eyelash short of victory. Collared by RACY ROXY two starts back, she is right in the fight.

BLACKJACK BART (9) chased home behind MIKI MAGIC last start after being sent to the post as fav from this same gate. Hew will be wide off the track at some stage trying to get into the contest.

SELECTIONS: JILLIBY CHAMBERS (1), MIKI MAGIC (8), BETTYS LASS (5), BLACKJACK BART (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

OUR UNCLE NEV (5) fired out to take them all the way at his first appearance on this deck and then off a six-week let up and change of stable took them all the way again from gate 2 to score. The wider gate makes the task tougher, but the threepeat looks within reach in this line up.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (3) has good hustle off the arm and from this gate can be looking to find a forward position in the early stages. Releasing for the trail last start from gate 1 before getting within a head of the winner, she can be close enough to make a challenge.

PUSHINIT UPHILL (8) was beaten by gate 6 last start when sent out as fav but unable to get into the contest after easing early to find position. Trailing through from this gate can see him feature.

YANKEE C J (6) is afforded no favours from the outside paint on a track where he is winless in 16 attempts. He should however find this a little easier than recent outings and can chime in.

SELECTIONS: OUR UNCLE NEV (5), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (3), PUSHINIT UPHILL (8), YANKEE C J (6)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR UNCLE NEV (5) to win

RACE FIVE

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (6)
started from inside the second line last start and with the pocket trip was able to dart through on the passing lane to claim his first win here on The Triangle. Fitter again after that run where he was second up, he can get forward and chase down another victory.

BATMAN BART (1) was sent around them from the second line last time out and getting outside the leader was able to grind out a narrow victory. Not suited from inside second line gates at his prior two attempts, he lands the alley to burrow through and look to fight them off.

MOUNT HERCULES (9) has been racing consistently without finding a win in recent weeks, claiming a minor in four of his past five. Grabbing 2nd last start when closing out hard, he will make a late raid.

ASHLEE NITRO (5) is never too far from them and if this race can generate some midrace tempo, it will giver her the chance to be chiming in over the concluding stages.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN TROUBADOR (6), BATMAN BART (1), MOUNT HERCULES (9), ASHLEE NITRO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN TROUBADOR (6) to win

RACE SIX

ROASARITO (1)
is on a win drought that just surpassed 12 months, yet he may have found the conditions to bring some victory rains here. Runner-up last start after releasing over the sprint trip, the smother run seems to be working and with the options off this alley can chase the breakthrough.

KEAYANG TARA (7) is winless this season but has been on a hot run of placings where she has been in the money at 11 of her past 12. Chasing home from the second line last start when runner-up to YOGI, she was just a head from the winner in the Showcase Final the start prior. She will be probing.

MISTER WOODPORT (9) found the pocket trail last start from gate 3 and via the passing lane was able to arrive for the prize. A beaten fav at Marburg the start prior, he can be joining in here.

KELLY LOUISE (5) fired out from gate 3 last time out and from the front was able to take them all the way. Beaten by a wide gate the start prior, she is 3 from 3 on this deck and is not without hope.

SELECTIONS: ROASARITO (1), KEAYANG TARA (7), MISTER WOODPORT (9), KELLY LOUISE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

DOC JUJON (2)
is a veteran of just three career starts and has improved at each outing. Striking a handy one on debut, he grabbed the silver second up behind subsequent winner TAKE A CHANCE before a breakthrough win last start in tough fashion. From the gate he should rinse and repeat.

MISTER DELWIN (8) was asked to roll the sleeves for the tough stuff last start when sitting parked. In for the fight to finish within 5m of the winner, it followed successive placings when working in the run in each. Trailing through to settle handy, he can look to issue a challenge.

HOLLYWOODBOUND (5) fired out to take control from gate 4 last start and from the front led until deep into the stretch, finishing 2m in arrears of the winner. The wider gate makes it tricky.

LUCKY JIM (4) features in a stable change to join the Kelli Dawson barn. With a sound trial in preparation for the return, he has podium claims in this line up.

SELECTIONS: DOC JUJON (2), MISTER DELWIN (8), HOLLYWOODBOUND (5), LUCKY JIM (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DOC JUJON (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (5)
has been thereabouts without landing a breakthrough of late, placed in 5 of his past 6 appearances. Rattling home from deep field to grab the silver after retreating from gate 6 last start, he was runner-up to OUR MAJOR DAY in the Showcase Consolation two back.

JILLIBY GIZMO (2) has good speed when allowed slide off the arm and he can look for the poles in this battle. Midfield last start when tackling the standing start Showcase Final behind KID MONTANA, it followed a down the line return from outside the front line. He can issue a challenge here.

OFFICE BAD BOY (8) held the trail last start and was trying to issue a closing raid when runner-up to HURRIKANE MEL. With the right trip, he is a podium player again here.

GLENROCK (7) was not too far from the winner POM PAY two starts back when using the passing lane to take a shot. Needing some luck here, she will be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (5), JILLIBY GIZMO (2), OFFICE BAD BOY (8), GLENROCK (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (5) to win

RACE NINE

SHOOBEE RIGHT (6)
started a red figure fav here three runs back from gate 3 when making an early error that saw him sit parked and then cop the ODM embargo. Best of the chasers behind DOC JUJON two starts back, he got it all wrong again last start. If he can get the start right, he can take this.

TUFFY (8) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest from a second line gate when making late metres to be 3m in arrears of the winner. Kept fresh since his last outing, with the right trip he can be issuing a challenge.

JUSTCALLMENITRO (7) has the early speed to burrow through here and from the front will then have the options. Beaten by gate 6 last start, she can grab some minor money.

TRUE ORIGINS (3) finished in 4th place last start to end a streak of six successive placed efforts all from a mixture of gates. Not too far from WATCH THE GREAT ONE two starts back, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: SHOOBEE RIGHT (6), TUFFY (8), JUSTCALLMENITRO (7), TRUE ORIGINS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SHOOBEE RIGHT (6) to win

RACE TEN

ISLA AND ADDIE (1) tackled older performers last start from this same gate where she was soon shuffled back in the run before finding space to grab the silver. Fading after sitting parked here two starts back, she might have found the set up to claim the breakthrough.

BREEZE ON BYE (7) pressed forward to lead them up last start but was unable to see it out when fading to be 9m from the winner. Back to her own age and with the benefit of the second line options, she can issue a challenge.

VINCENT TIME (2) is a gelding by Vincent out of the five-time winner Sklarhain on debut for Greg Elkins. Doing everything right in a recent trial, he can have an early play for the front.

NITE IRENE (3) is a Changeover filly making her debut for Peter Greig that trialled in nice order on this deck. From the gate she stays under watch.

SELECTIONS: ISLA AND ADDIE (1), BREEZE ON BYE (7), VINCENT TIME (2), NITE IRENE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:
