The Cairns Jockey Club TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday, August 5 has been abandoned due to weather and state of the track.
The meeting was previously rescheduled from Innisfail also as a result of the weather.
Ladbrokes Cannon Park racecourse has received approximately 50mm of rain over the past week, but persistent showers this week has not resulted in any drying weather leaving the track unsuitable to race on. Further showers are forecast up until raceday.
