DARK TERROR (2) was sent around them from the second line last start and despite a tough trip was still fighting when 3rd to AUNTY BELLA. A tough winner here three back, he can cash in here. POCKET THE CASH (12) was first up in Qld when sent hard off the outside gate over the middle trip to take control. With a 61-opening half, he was able to rip home in 55.2 to claim a 6m margin. He faces the extreme gate for this battle but twit the added fitness can throw it down here. RACE TWO A strong winner at the mile to claim a 70Final here three starts back, BIG SHADOW (10) set the tempo two back at the 2138. With a 56 middle half seeing him out of bullets in the stretch, he bounced back here on Tuesday with a dominant win. Despite the gate, he can go back-to-back. NOBLE TRICK (9) had an early look last start but repelled for the front was then forced to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way. Fighting hard to the line through a sizzling closing half of 54.4, he just missed the money. Luckless the start prior, he can get the right cart into this to challenge. MAKARA (8) could be in risk of being snookered here and will be relying on some factors to go his way. Tackling a veteran’s event last start claimed by the in-form APHORISM, he will be probing. LOUTHARIO (1) will be first up from a spell and making his first outing for Richie Williams. A six-time winner, he trialled soundly for the return, his early speed could be the burying factor. SELECTIONS: BIG SHADOW (10), NOBLE TRICK (9), MAKARA (8), LOUTHARIO (1) SUGGESTED BET: BIG SHADOW (10) to win
RACE THREE On the back up from Tuesday where a second line gate dented her chances, MERRY DANCER (3) can look to rifle off the arm. Taking them all the way at the middle trip three runs back, she wilted at her next run after setting a solid tempo. Pinching a panel will be key to her taking them all the way. MISS DAYTONA (1) forced the issue last start from gate 4 and pressed to the front and was trying to see it out when swamped late to be 3m away and missing a cheque. A grafting 3rd when parked the start prior, she will be burrowing through here to issue the challenge. GLENLEA HANOVER (8) was first up in Qld last start when fired off the arm to set the tempo. RACE FOUR
The wide gate stings but there is no doubting that FUNNY FACE (7) has continued to step up at every Qld appearance to put her name in the conversation of sitting inside the top-five square gaiters in this state. Beaten by a neck three back when chasing a hat-trick, she has won both starts since and can complete a threepeat this time. SUGARINSPICE (8) has hit the board in 11 of 13 for the season, the latest when holding the bronze behind FUNNY FACE, finishing 6m astern. Holding 3rd in the Qld Trotters Cup two starts back which had followed successive wins from the mobile, she will be probing for the openings to challenge. MAJESTIC LAVROS (3) is the big query runner at his local debut, arriving from NZ as a nine-time winner, including form around some smart trotters. With a pair of smart trials, he stays under watch. Returning from a spell last start where he caught the eye working home hard, wide off the track for 3rd behind FUTURE ASSURED, he looks to get his chance to capitalise here. HY VOLTAGE (1) burrowed through to lead here last week at this trip and then was fizzed up and fighting the driver. Taking cover, he was able to settle somewhat and then punched it out to hold on for the bronze. If he can settle early, he can issue a big challenge in this line up. OUR ACTION MAN (2) was looking to take them all the way last start when fired off the arm from this gate. Setting a sub 55 closing half, he was only collared on the wire and can feature again. BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (8) returns from an NSW campaign where he landed one Newcastle win in his five-start trip. With the chance for an easy peg ride, he can be chiming in. SELECTIONS: DEUS EX (7), HY VOLTAGE (1), OUR ACTION MAN (2), BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (8) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE SIX Looking to make it four wins on the bounce here two starts back, ELOUISA DALE (6) was locked away and would have finished closer if the gaps presented sooner. Bouncing back with a sharp win when sent forward from the second line to put the power on, back to mare’s grade here looks ideal. MIGHT AS WELL (5) keeps finding one or two better, yet has been running some super races of late, the latest when buried and then attacking the line strongly when runner-up to MAGICAL MAYA. Darting through gaps late two runs back, she can be throwing it down. AJAY BREEZY ROSE (1) backs up from Wednesday night where she contested a 70Heat and chased hard in the closing stages for the silver behind O B LEGAL. Taking them all the way in this grade three back, the gate is a big asset. DELTA THREE (8) will have the second line options as the lone runner out the back, but this looks a good race to follow the short cuts. Beaten a half-neck last start from the trail, she will be probing. SELECTIONS: ELOUISA DALE (6), MIGHT AS WELL (5), AJAY BREEZY ROSE (1), DELTA THREE (8) SUGGESTED BET: ELOUISA DALE (6) to win

Fighting hard to finish 7m astern of the winner, it followed a strong win on the front end at this trip. He can power up early and look to dictate. LITTLELIONELJAMES (8) started from the outside second line gate over this trip last time out and was working home smartly wide off the track when grabbing the bronze behind ART ON FIRE. Mapping for the soft trip in behind the speed, he will be awaiting the gap to issue the closing raid. BIDE OUR TIME (9) started from gate 1 last start and was soon shuffled to three back in the wash up. Holding on for 3rd behind THE GROGFATHER, the fence play will be an option. KING OF TRUMPS (3) was not suited last start from the second line over the middle trip and finished down the line, unable to warm up late. Runner-up at his previous two, he can be sharper here. SHEREACTS (4) fired out from gate 3 over the mile two starts back and was trying to take them all the way when finishing 2m from the winner SAN MAREA. Asked to sit parked last start, she was grinding it out when 7m astern of the winner. She can force the issue here and throw it down. KEAYANG MOON SHINE (5) will back up from Tuesday when locked away from gate 1 and was just in behind them looking for space when 3rd to HARRY KANE. The wide gate makes it a tough ask. MISSTREPO (8) was chasing a hat-trick of victories last start when drawn the second line and making some late ground despite finishing out of the money. Needing some gaps, she can descend off speed. SELECTIONS: OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT (9), SHEREACTS (4), KEAYANG MOON SHINE (5), MISSTREPO (8) SUGGESTED BET: OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT (9) to win
RACE NINE A standing start event to close the card where ITS MR CLOONEY (3) can look to make the most of the front tape. A safe beginner when he gets it right, he was down the line as FUTURE ASSURED made a statement. A winner at the 2138 mobile three back in front, if he steps cleanly, he will be hard to stop. MIRACLE MOOSE (7) has had two victories since arriving in Qld back in April, with both wins coming from behind the tapes. Sent forward to sit parked from the 10m here three starts back, he was impressive in victory when sitting parked and breaking 55 the last 800. He can look to make it three. COLT THIRTY ONE (6) was a runner-up here two starts back from the 20m tape under these same conditions. In the second half of the pack at the mobile mile last start, he gets back to 10m to stake a claim. MACH SHARD (8) was beaten by the wide gate last start when snagged back and against the tempo nothing could work into it. Back to the tapes, the small field is in his favour. SELECTIONS: ITS MR CLOONEY (3), MIRACLE MOOSE (7), COLT THIRTY ONE (6), MACH SHARD (8) SUGGESTED BET: ITS MR CLOONEY (3) to win
