BEACH VILLA (9) started from inside the second line last start and was soon buried in the run and needing a rub of the green to get the space. Making a closing raid to be just a head from the winner when the gap presented, he can get to the outside here and will be throwing it down. OUR ACTION MAN (4) has been placed at his past two starts, the most recent when sitting parked and doing the heavy lifting at the 2138m. Never shirking the task, he was game in defeat as HY VOLTAGE darted through from the pocket trail. Beaten a half-head two starts back, he looms large. RACE FIVE A tricky mare’s contest where the map looks to get a bit tricky. Trying to make a closing raid when beaten a head, she can look to descend on them here. KEAYANG MOON SHINE (4) has placed at her past three starts, the latest in a second division mare’s event here last week when sitting parked and holding on for the silver behind OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT. Grabbing bronze, the start prior, she can roll forward to issue a challenge. ALEXIA ROSE (10) was drawn off the second line last start and was trying to make a late play when just out of the money. MACARENA MADI (4) eased from gate 6 last start and was keen in the run when forced to settle deep field on the markers. Fired out to take them all the way here two starts back and see it out with a PB victory, she can throw some heat early here to issue a challenge. SEA LOVER (5) was wide in the early stages before forcing the issue and taking control here last week. In for the fight once in front, she was trying hard but just failed to see it out. Moving in two positions on the front line helps, but limiting the early burn will also be key. ARCO (10) has laced at her past two starts, the latest when put into the contest in the early stages last week and dug in for the fight when beaten a half-neck. Runner-up two back, she has claims. ZEALOUS SPUR (6) found the pocket trail here last week from the mobile and was the best of the chasing pack behind the sharp winner MAJESTIC LAVROS. Making an error from the tapes two starts back, a safe getaway under these conditions and set up can see him issue a challenge.
