The Queensland greyhound racing industry is in mourning following the sad passing of John Geoghegan on Sunday afternoon.
Mr Geoghegan passed away at the Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club on Sunday, September 17, 2023, where he was in attendance as the trainer of Outback Gold.
Racing Queensland’s Industry Mental Health Support Program is available for any greyhound trainers, owners, handlers, club employees and volunteers who require assistance.
RQ also provides access to free confidential counselling and professional support services provided by an external provider, Benestar.
