The Barcaldine Race Club non-TAB meeting for Saturday, December 2 has been abandoned due to the state of the track.
This followed a QRIC track inspection this morning which found sections of the track are still water-logged and not suitable for racing. T
The club will however conduct a “phantom” betting meeting on Saturday, December 2 with all facilities available.
RQ will liaise with the club regarding a replacement date for later in the season.
Due to the abandonment an additional race – Benchmark 60 Hcp 1615m of $10,000 plus QTIS, will be added to the Emerald JC program on Sunday, December 10.
