RACE ONE

TRUSTFULL (1) has been edging closer to the maiden breakthrough before last start when asked to do far too much work in the run. The start prior she held 3rd behind the clear out winner SHACKOUTTHEBACK which followed a head defeat here three back. This looks her chance.

POETIC REASON (3) is the veteran of just three career starts, finishing in the money in two of those. Holding on behind DAHRLINN last start, she has shown steady improvement and can look to issue a challenge in an open maiden contest.

MELTON SCHLEGER (2) was beaten by a wide gate last start at Redcliffe which followed a tough trip when sitting parked. Limiting the work can see him feature in this line up.

YELLA (4) should appreciate a return to maiden company after tackling up to 40 grade at his past two starts. Finding position cheaply will be key to his chances.

SELECTIONS: TRUSTFULL (1), POETIC REASON (3), MELTON SCHLEGER (2), YELLA (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

TODAYS HERO (4) will take some benefit from his outing at Redcliffe last time where he was resuming from a spell. Locked away from inside the second line, he could have been closer if the gap arrived sooner. In this line up he can look to capitalise.

FRAME DRIVE (8) was working home wide off the track last start when finishing with the silver behind CIRCLE LINE. Sent around them from the second line the start prior to takeover but unable to see it out, he finds the right opposition to throw down a challenge.

TAKIDAH (1) looks set to enjoy the right trip from this alley to chase some minor money. Yet to hit the board in five runs this season, she will be probing.

OFFICE BAD BOY (5) started from outside the second line here last time when working home in good order for the bronze behind CIRCLE LINE. He does not get much respite from this alley.

SELECTIONS: TODAYS HERO (4), FRAME DRIVE (8), TAKIDAH (1), OFFICE BAD BOY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TODAYS HERO (4) to win

RACE THREE

HURRIKANE KING (1) should relish the chance to start from this alley and should have the required speed off the arm to take control. Grabbing the bronze from gate 5 at Redcliffe two starts back, he attacked the line strongly last time and this looks an ideal set up.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (6) is a four-time winner on this deck and maps to secure the ideal trip in behind the speed. Too far back last start, he could have been closer with a gap arriving sooner last start. He can pinch this if the gap arrives in time.

COURAGEOUS LEO (3) could not get warm last start at Redcliffe and the start prior faded after a tough trip when sitting parked. Limiting the work will be vital to his chances here.

FUNNILY ENOUGH (7) was sent around them from the second line to sit parked here last start but after the tough trip could not finish it off. He can follow through to feature here.

SELECTIONS: HURRIKANE KING (1), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (6), COURAGEOUS LEO (3), FUNNILY ENOUGH (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HURRIKANE KING (1) to win

RACE FOUR

WHATA CHALLENGE (8) was snookered on the poles last start from inside the second line and never found the space when needed to offer. Running on late to grab the silver at Redcliffe three starts back, he finds the right conditions here to capitalise.

MAMMALS DESTINY (3) fired off the arm at Redcliffe three starts back and tried to pinch it from the front when collared in the closing strides. Buried in the run at her next start when snagged off the arm from a wide gate, she can get handy here to issue a challenge.

NIGHT SHADOW (9) pressed forward from a wide gate last start on The Triangle and was able to hold on for the silver. He will be wide at some point trying to make a run.

JAYDES TERROR (6) will be searching for a gap here as she looks set to be buried. Fitter from her latest outing where she was second up from a spell, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: WHATA CHALLENGE (8), MAMMALS DESTINY (3), NIGHT SHADOW (9), JAYDES TERROR (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA CHALLENGE (8) to win

RACE FIVE

GRACENAVA (3) made an error soon after release in the heats but was able to reset for the 1x1 trail when holding on for the bronze behind MONGOLIAN CONQEUROR. Charging hard in the closing stages three starts back when beaten a head, a safe step can see her capitalise.

MISTER QUIRK (6) debuted from the tapes in the heats where he got it all wrong. Once into stride he chased gamely to just miss the money as LITTLE BOLT saw it out. Tackling a much tougher AP 2138 contest last time, the start will be his biggest test in this.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (2) will be on the back up from Thursday where he looked a podium hope. A tough 3rd two starts back, a smooth getaway will put him right in the fight in this.

GOELITZ (7) has the 30m to negotiate here at his second attempt from the tapes. Having something in front to focus might help his chances and he is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: GRACENAVA (3), MISTER QUIRK (6), CHANCELESS CENTURY (2), GOELITZ (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (8) was a winner here two starts back from wide off the front line when finding he front and claiming an 8m margin. Runner-up last start at Redcliffe, there looks plenty of front-line heat and if she can sit handy without spending any early tokens, can cash in.

ROLLONX (4) has some slippery moves when allowed to slide out of the machine and might just be able to get across them here. A winner from the front end at Redcliffe three starts back when getting across from gate 5, he will throw down the challenge.

CIRCLE LINE (1) forced the issue last start from the outside front line and was able to find the front and then take them all the way to claim his ninth win on this deck. Early position will be key.

BATMAN BART (3) rolled around them to sit parked last start at Redcliffe and despite the tough trip, he was able to grind out the win. Unable to convert a victory in 15 appearances on this deck looks the concern.

SELECTIONS: WESTERN SHOWGIRL (8), ROLLONX (4), CIRCLE LINE (1), BATMAN BART (3)
SUGGESTED BET: WESTERN SHOWGIRL (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

LITTLE BOLT (8) was having his first look from the tapes in the heats where he was able to squeeze out of a spot to get outside the leader and then control the speed sitting parked. Despite the tough trip, he ran the quickest last 800 of any of the heats in scoring a strong win. Fitter again after two runs back from a let up, he is up to the task.

MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR (2) was building towards a victory after three successive placings leading into the heats of this series. Stepping away and pressing to the front, he was able to clear out from the pack with a 2m margin and a further 23m back to 3rd. The front tape will be a huge advantage.

PARTY CHANGER (4) made it four in succession last start when overcoming the AP 2138 and a second line gate to secure a 6m margin. Claiming his heat with a smart win from the front, he will be pressing hard in the early stages to stake his claim.

MYDADSAID (9) broke the track record in the heats when sent around them and then pulling clear for a strong victory. That was off the front tape and a smart effort by this talented 4YO, but the 30m tape for the final might just be his kryptonite.

SELECTIONS: LITTLE BOLT (8), MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR (2), PARTY CHANGER (4), MYDADSAID (9)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTLE BOLT (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

GLENLEDI COMMANDER (9) started from inside the second line last start and after mixing it up before the light illuminated, was subsequently given the ODM embargo. Fading after a tough trip in front two starts back, he has the tough gate but finds conditions that are within reach.

LA SABINA (2) was too far back last start after retreating in the early stages and then never getting warm. Tackling mares’ grade in the starts prior to that, she has been runner-up in two of her three starts on this deck and from this gate can be an improver.

MAJOR SLIP UP (6) will need a slice of luck at some point from this gate as he looks set to be snookered in the run. A winner four starts back when first up from a spell, he will be probing.

KYRONTA (7) fired out from gate 2 and set a solid tempo at Redcliffe last start when only collared in the closing stages. Showing steady improvement into his campaign, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: GLENLEDI COMMANDER (9), LA SABINA (2), MAJOR SLIP UP (6), KYRONTA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GLENLEDI COMMANDER (9) to win

RACE NINE

DANIEL BOOM (1) was sent to the post as the fav last start at Redcliffe from gate 4 but had to settle for the bronze when making good closing metres behind FELLIN FLIRTY. Strong to the line the start prior over the AP mile, he secures his chance to burrow through and dictate.

MISS MIA (2) was a Redcliffe winner three starts back when descending on them from the outside second line gate. Tough gates have dampened her chances in the two runs since and from this alley she can look to throw down a challenge.

MIGHTY GEORGE (7) started from inside the second line last start when finishing midfield behind RYLEE RHAYNE BOW. Chasing APOLLO DREAMZ the start prior, he can feature in this.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (9) finished too strongly for them at Redcliffe two starts back when overcoming the second line. Only a half-neck from the winner but missing a cheque last start, he can feature in this.

SELECTIONS: DANIEL BOOM (1), MISS MIA (2), MIGHTY GEORGE (7), BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: DANIEL BOOM (1) to win
