RACE ONE

Giving away plenty of race experience to his rivals, BOTTICELLI (7) has shown in his three starts that there is a good motor to call on. Strong to the line for the silver when second up, he powered up to find the front last start and scored a smart win.

RISK TAKER (6) was runner-up in a Trot Rods event two starts back when trying to reel them in late. Never warming up the start prior, his run three back was sound in the Breeders Final when chasing home behind DELE ROW.

POCKET BOOK (1) rolled forward from gate 6 to find position last start before making a late play for 2nd when beaten a head. The gate is a big plus.

MERRY JEWEL (9) was beaten by a wide gate last start, forced to retreat early before hitting the line strongly in the closing stages. She can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: BOTTICELLI (7), RISK TAKER (6), POCKET BOOK (1), MERRY JEWEL (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

Last seen when finishing 3rd in the NSW Oaks, ZENA RHAYNE BOW (6) has hit the board in all five starts this season. Resuming from a spell with successive wins at the mile, she returns from a freshen here and despite the wide gate, she looks to have the class.

FIREBOLT (3) is chasing down a hat-trick after wins at Redcliffe over the 947 and then here at the mile last start. Burrowing through from gate 1 to hold them out last start and take them all the way, she can get handy and look to issue the challenge.

SIR BRIGADOON (10) caught the eye last start where he hit the line strongly over this trip to be just 4m from the winner. A similar trip can see him feature.

MOSSMAN (4) was runner-up two starts back when closing out nicely to be just a head away. A tough trip told over the latter stages last start and he can bounce back here.

SELECTIONS: ZENA RHAYNE BOW (6), FIREBOLT (3), SIR BRIGADOON (10), MOSSMAN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ZENA RHAYNE BOW (6) to win

RACE THREE

Buried away last start from inside the second line, LUVBITE (3) never found the space to make a play as REGAZZO DI TILLY continued his winning ways. Striking trouble in the run the start prior behind ELLIS STREET, he can force the issue here to capitalise.

COLLECT A DIME (4) on figure form may look to have dropped off somewhat in recent starts, yet a closer look suggests there have been circumstances against him in those runs. Despite a last three back, he was only 6m away and he can throw it down here.

ALTA EQUUS (10) claimed a qualifying victory four runs back when pressing to the front and taking them all the way. Gunned down last start, he can be making a late play here.

ART JESTER (7) is afforded no favours from the outside of the front line, but tempo will aid his chances. Not far away in three runs since a win, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: LUVBITE (3), COLLECT A DIME (4), ALTA EQUUS (10), ART JESTER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: LUVBITE (3) to win

RACE FOUR

WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (9) was building towards a win after finishing as the runner-up in successive events before capitalising on his opportunity to grind out a starchy victory in a qualifier. JIMARTEE was far to slippery last start and back to this grade is a big plus.

KASH TIN (5) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when eased from gate 7 before rattling hard in the closing stages to grab the silver behind the clear out winner ROBYN X. Strong to the line the start prior, positioning cheaply will aid his challenging chances.

ALTA SENSATION (1) was first up from a freshen last start and should be tightened from the outing. Needing some gaps that did not appear, the gate is a huge advantage.

PYRRHIC DANCER (8) was finishing strongly last start when grabbing the silver behind MY ROCKY ROMANCE. With the economical trip, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (9), KASH TIN (5), ALTA SENSATION (1), PYRRHIC DANCER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (9) to win

RACE FIVE

Faced with a tough gate two starts back, MY ROCKY ROMANCE (7) was hitting the line strongly in the closing stages to be under 4m from the winner. Overcoming gate 10 last start when owning superior closing power, he can look to defy the wide gate.

ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (3) was snookered on the poles from the inside second line gate last start and when finding the gaps, attacked the line strongly in the closing stages for the win. Runner-up from gate 6 here four back, he can press on to throw it down.

KERBANG (11) has had two runs back from a spell, returning with a 2nd at Redcliffe in the Trot Rods and then last start gate 6 in slick time dented his hopes. He can join in.

GOODOLBOYSANDBEER (9) rolled forward last start to have a look early but was repelled and forced to sit parked. Game in holding on for 3rd, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: MY ROCKY ROMANCE (7), ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (3), KERBANG (11), GOODOLBOYSANDBEER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ROCKY ROMANCE (7) to win

RACE SIX

MAJORITA JUJON (6) was runner-up in successive races before finding the ideal conditions last start to power home over the top of them to victory. The wide gate makes the repeat tough, but a cheap spot I the running line will aid her chances.

ANYONEWILLDO (3) eased off the inside to find the running line last start at Marburg and doing it the tough way was able to grind out the victory. She can get forward here and look to throw down the challenge.

LULU MAE (2) found the pocket trail last start and darted through the gap when it presented to grab the W. She can get handy to feature again here.

MAGICOL IDEAL (9) has been in good touch in recent starts with two wins and a minor form his past four starts. Grinding it out first over last start, he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: MAJORITA JUJON (6), ANYONEWILLDO (3), LULU MAE (2), MAGICOL IDEAL (9)

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Having looked to have secured the right set up last start, GO COLOUR MY WORLD (6) had to settle for the silver when 2m astern of the winner. Banished to the trials two starts back, he faces an awkward gate here, but is getting close to finding winning form.

RUBY DEAR (9) is giving away plenty of experience to her rivals here but can look to securer the right early trail. A winner on debut at Wagga, she has faced wide gats in both subsequent runs. With better luck on her side, she can look to challenge.

ANUSED (8) was a winner here four runs back when eased off the arm before charging home in the closing stages to score. With the chance of the soft trip, he will be probing.

SPORTS BOUNTY (5) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins, the latest when descending on them here for a 4m margin. Finding position will aid his hopes.

SELECTIONS: GO COLOUR MY WORLD (6), RUBY DEAR (9), AMUSED (8), SPORTS BOUNTY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: GO COLOUR MY WORLD (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

Relying on some factors in her favour, if FILLY THIRTEEN (8) can spot the gap in time, this is a race that is within her reach. Grabbing the bronze behind AIR EXPREE two starts back, she missed the money but was only 4m away last time. She can take her shot.

TOMAHAWK BART (6) resumes from a spell for his first Qld appearance after finishing unplaced in four Western NSW outings. With a recent trial to prepare for the return, he can look for a sharper performance in this line up.

WHATA LEGACY (1) returned from a spell when trying to take them all the way from gate 6 and was only nabbed right on the wire. Strong to the line last time, he is right in this.

VODKA EN ICE (10) made the most of the front-line gate here last week to lead throughout for his first victory at HQ. The gate makes the repeat a tough ask.

SELECTIONS: FILLY THIRTEEN (8), TOMAHAWK BART (6), WHATA LEGACY (1), VODKA EN ICE (10)
SUGGESTED BET: FILLY THIRTEEN (8) to win

RACE NINE

A winner here four starts back when taking them all the way, LETS GET SHORTY (5) has not been suited in the three runs since, the latest when snookered from inside the second line. From this gate he can look to force the issue.

MELODYS MISCHIEF (1) was buried in the run at Redcliffe last start and when finding space, made some late metres to grab the bronze. Midfield the start prior, she can secure the idea trip to stalk the speed and issue the closing challenge.

TORQUE WRITER (7) found the ideal scenario in the run here two starts back and when breaking free, sprinted hard to score. Too far back last start, she can chime in late.

GHOST TRAIN (8) was a Marburg runner-up two starts back and followed that with a 3rd at Redcliffe. He has the gate to search for gaps and grab a minor here.

SELECTIONS: LETS GET SHORTY (5), MELODYS MISCHIEF (1), TORQUE WRITER (7), GHOST TRAIN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: LETS GET SHORTY (5) to win

RACE TEN

DUAL CAM (1) has shown good improvement at each of his three starts and snares the gate to capitalise in this mixed maiden. Making some late ground when 3rd behind HATTIES JEWEL here on Tuesday, this looks a winnable contest.

KINGSBURY (2) struck trouble in the run last start and finished near the tail as HATTIES JEWEL cashed in. Drawn the second line in two career appearances, the front gate for the first time will help his challenging chances.

LET ME AT IT (9) was working home wide off the track last start to grab the silver at Marburg and can be joining in where the minor placings look up for grabs.

TAKEN BY SURPRISE (8) should secure the ideal trip in behind the speed from this gate can look to chase some minor money.

SELECTIONS: DUAL CAM (1), KINGSBURY (2), LET ME AT IT (9), TAKEN BY SURPRISE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: DUAL CAM (1) to win
