Racing Queensland advises that the Tambo Cup non-TAB meeting on Saturday, June 1 (previously postponed) has now been abandoned due to weather/state of the track.
Light rain began falling Friday afternoon which continued into Saturday, and a further track inspection at 8am has found the track unsuitable for racing for both Saturday and Sunday.
The club will now stage the Tambo Cup at their August 3 race meeting.
RQ will process the race meeting abandonment payments for stakeholders for this meeting.
Due to the abandonment, additional races have been added to upcoming race programs in the Central West and are:
BARCALDINE RC – SATURDAY JUNE 8
QTIS Class 4 Plate (sw) 1200m $10,000 plus QTIS
Benchmark 50 Hcp 1600m $10,000
LONGREACH JC – SATURDAY JUNE 15
Maiden Plate (2yo & up sw) 1000m $10,000
