The Goondiwindi Race Club is putting the finishing touches on the Carrington Cotton Boggabilla Cup which is set to take place at Gunsynd Park later this month.
With the Northern NSW picnic circuit now complete, the Boggabilla Cup will be run and won on Saturday, July 20 and continues the Gunsynd Park Cup circuit following the Picnic and Inglewood Cups and leads into the Vern Kleinschmidt Goondiwindi Cup to be run in early September.
Pleasingly, the Goondiwindi Cup will form part of the now famous Gourmet in Gundy Weekend.
The Carrington Cotton Boggabilla Cup on July 20 will see a number of supporting business join with major sponsor, Carrington Cotton and once again.
These include Morella Ag, Goondiwindi Cotton, Lowes Petroleum, Aircair Aviation, Boggabilla Town & Country Club, Ambrose Haulage, Peco Trading, R D O Equipment and Mc Gregor Gourlay, who will all join forces with Carrington Cotton to present the Carrington Cotton Boggabilla Cup.
The recent picnic circuit continues to highlight the popularity of country racing, with big crowds in attendance, and this meeting is expected to be no different.
