RACE ONE Continuing his super consistent performance this season, TARGARYEN (2) was again making nice metres in the closing stages when 3rd behind BLACKSADANCE. This could be the ideal gate to settle in the running line and be rewarded for his consistency. ALTA MAGACIAN (3) had placed at three in succession and cashed in last start when sent straight to the front and from there was able to take them all the way with a slick closing 400. He can fire out again here and look to rinse an repeat. PACIFICO DREAM (1) has hit the board at one in every three of his appearances here at The Creek and lands the right gate to tuck in behind the tempo and chime in late. MAJOR PERRY (5) features in a stable change to join the Shane Graham barn. Last seen when midfield behind MAJOR MOTH, he can be a feature in this. SELECTIONS: TARGARYEN (2), ALTA MAGACIAN (3), PACIFICO DREAM (1), MAJOR PERRY (5) SUGGESTED BET: TARGARYEN (2) to win
RACE TWO
The NR70 Consolation has drawn together an even contest whereby virtue of the gate, PROMISING (1) might just be able to overturn his poor conversion rate here at The Creek. A gritty 2nd behind subsequent winner MACH ASSASSIN two back, he can look to cash in. WHATA ROLLER (4) has good hustle off the arm when allowed to stride and from this gate might just be able to fire some early bullets. Runner-up two starts back behind LUVBITE when resuming from a spell, he can look to get handy to throw it down. ARKIN WICKED (7) is afforded no favours from the outside paint but was impressive last start in overcoming a wide second line gate at the middle trip. He can be chiming in. CONGO LINE (8) had the perfect sit on the speed here last week but had no tokens to use when the passing lane presented. He will be tucked away again here awaiting the opening.
SELECTIONS: PROMISING (1), WHATA ROLLER (4), ARKIN WICKED (7), CONGO LINE (8) SUGGESTED BET: PROMISING (1) to win
RACE THREE
This race looks a showdown between a pair of speedsters that have layed out some impressive times in recent wins. CHYNCHILLA (9) is airborne and posted a 51 mile two starts back when pressing on from gate 7. Despite the second line, she can make it a handful in succession. WASA HEAT SEEKER (1) was allowed to balance up from gate 4 in his heat before being sent forward and taking control, kept the speed on to claim an 8m margin in a 51.5 mile. Stripping fitter from that run where he was first up since April, he will need to burrow through to protect. LUVBITE (8) will be hoping the 1 has the speed to drive through to hold, with that scenario then putting him in the ideal stalking position. He will be awaiting the gaps to offer. CHAMONIX (10) powered home over the top of them here two starts back from a second line gate to claim the prize. He can angle to the poles here which will be the right place to play.
SELECTIONS: CHYNCHILLA (9), WASA HEAT SEEKER (1), LUVBITE (8), CHAMONIX (10) SUGGESTED BET: CHYNCHILLA (9) to win
RACE FOUR
Taking his stats to six wins in 12 appearances on this deck, JIMARTEE (5) busted the 1.50 barrier last start, making it twice in three starts to better the barrier that has only been done once previously. He can continue to press forward and strong arm them to chase a 19th career win. TURN IT UP (3) put the left-hand blinker on from gate 7 last start to be in front soon after the arms folded before taking the trail on JIMARTEE and holding on for the bronze. Similar tactics here can see him look to replicate a podium finish. SEND IT (2) will take benefit from settling closer to the action from this gate after being forced to retreat for position last start from gate 5. That help can see him fill some minor money. ALWAYS SMOKIN (1) should secure the perfect trip against the inside which will be a good place to be situated if the tempo is dialled up. Runner-up in the 4YO Championship two starts back, he is in the mix.
SELECTIONS: JIMARTEE (5), TURN IT UP (3), SEND IT (2), ALWAYS SMOKIN (1) SUGGESTED BET: JIMARTEE (5) to win
RACE FIVE
Chasing down a hat-trick of victories after a pair of impressive wins at the mile, JUNGLE BABY (3) can settle close enough to the action to claim the threepeat. Allowed to balance up and settle in the running line last start, she powered home over the top and can look to repeat. BRONSKI DELIGHT (10) may not have the figure form against her name, but her performances have been better than what the numbers may suggest. Midfield to EYE EKEEP SMILING two starts back, she can defy the gate to issue a challenge. PLAYA BLANCA (1) found the front from gate 3 last start and with a steady opening half, had plenty in reserve to see them off. This is tougher, but the gate and options help the cause. SERGIOS ROCKET (4) sat parked here last week before moving to the front and looking set to fight them off. Collared in the closing strides by APHRODITE, she can get forward to feature.
SELECTIONS: JUNGLE BABY (3), BRONSKI DELIGHT (10), PLAYA BLANCA (1), SERGIOS ROCKET (4) SUGGESTED BET: JUNGLE BABY (3) to win
RACE SIX A winner in two of his three since arriving in Qld, ROYAL SPEECH (5) faces a sticky gate but with plenty of speed to the inside, can ease across to balance up early. Sent forward from the second line last start and powering up to pull clear, he finds the opposition to chase the repeat. HASTY BID (4) was midfield last start when eased from a wide gate before making some good metres in the closing stages to be 7m away. That was his third run back from a spell and after a smart effort second up, he can be issuing a closing challenge here. BETTOR KEPPEL (1) was out of the pack and chasing last start when runner-up to the in-form MACH ASSASSIN. He may be at risk of being crossed, but an economical trip will suit. BUSHY BEACH (3) was sent forward in the middle stages last start and asked to throw heat from the breeze in a sub 28 second split. Out of gas soon after, a return to the mile suits here.
SELECTIONS: ROYAL SPEECH (5), HASTY BID (4), BETTOR KEPPEL (1), BUSHY BEACH (3) SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL SPEECH (5) to win
RACE SEVEN ZOOM PARTY (2) will appreciate a return to the mile after tackling the middle trip here midweek when the up-front tempo made it a hurdle too high for the chasers. With the chance to settle closer to the speed from this gate, he finds an open and winnable B-qually to capitalise. ROCK OF DELIGHT (9) was strong to the line from gate 7 here two starts back in an impressive close out. Chasing home behind the in-form MACH ASSASSIN last time, he can follow through early to throw it down in this line up. QUEENSLANDER (4) was sent to the front last start where he was trying to see it out but faded over the latter stages to finish near the rear. A beaten fav at his past two, he can chase redemption. JOHNSON STEP (8) chased home for the bronze behind ROYAL SPEECH last start to grab a tidy 3rd. With the soft fence trip here, he is a podium chance.
SELECTIONS: ZOOM PARTY (2), ROCK OF DELIGHT (9), QUEENSLANDER (4), JOHNSON STEP (8) SUGGESTED BET: ZOOM PARTY (2) to win
RACE EIGHT Following a strong showing last start when sitting parked, SHEZA BONNY SHEILA (9) was in for the fight when holding 2nd as JUNGLE BABY descended on the field to score. Too strong for them two starts back with victory, she is right up to the task. AURORA JOY (3) has been returning some consistent performances without winning reward in recent outings, the latest when wide off the track from deep field chasing home JUNGLE BABY. 3rd to LADY DIGBY two starts back, positioning cheaply will be key to her challenging chances. TORQUE LIKE MOTION (7) eased for position last start and then hit traffic in the run home and never had a clean shot. Gate seven makes the task no easier for this. KEAYANG MOON SHINE (1) returns to Qld following a last start 2nd at Tamworth when resuming from a spell. Sitting parked in that outing, she can burrow through to stake her claim here.
SELECTIONS: SHEZA BONNY SHEILA (9), AURORA JOY (3), TORQUE LIKE MOTION (7), KEAYANG MOON SHINE (1) SUGGESTED BET: SHEZA BONNY SHEILA (9) to win
RACE NINE Tightened further from his latest outing where he was second up from a spell, DANGERZONE (4) looks to have found the right conditions to bounce back to winning form. Sectionally superb last start after retreating from gate 7, he can get closer to stake his claim. HAY THERE JOE (1) should relish the improved gate and maps to get the early options. Strong to the line in a mid-week event last start behind ARKIN WICKED after starting from outside the second line, he was searching for gaps behind ROYAL CRUISER the start prior. This looks ideal. ART JESTER (2) was chasing from the running line last week when midfield behind ALTA MAGACIAN. Attacking the line after retreating the start prior, he is right in the fight. SAINT CRUSADER (8) has been asked to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way in two starts back in Qld. A game 2nd to ALTA MAGACIAN last time, he can feature again here.
SELECTIONS: DANGERZONE (4), HAY THERE JOE (1), ART JESTER (2), SAINT CRUSADER (8) SUGGESTED BET: DANGERZONE (4) to win
RACE TEN A tricky open for the mare’s to close the night where DIAMOND SHOOZ (4) might just be able to cash in. Securing the open two starts back from the 1x1 trail and posting a 5m margin, she sat parked last start in a game effort for 3rd behind the airborne CHYNCHILLA. LADY DIGBY (3) claimed the Triad Final last start when securing the ideal trip in behind the speed and then showing some clean plates to sprint past the leader. Runner-up to EYE KEEP SMILING the start prior, she can settle handy enough to issue the challenge. APHRODITE (1) was building towards a victory and delivered last week when finishing best from the 1x1 trail to claim victory by a head. With the options from the ace, she can feature. MISS MUCHO (5) struggled to get into the battle last start as CHYNCHILLA set a blistering sub 54 close out from the front. Just a head away three back, she has claims.
SELECTIONS: DIAMOND SHOOZ (4), LADY DIGBY (3), APHRODITE (1), MISS MUCHO (5) SUGGESTED BET: DIAMOND SHOOZ (4) to win
