Racing Queensland advises stakeholders that the Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club will host a non-tab race meeting on Tuesday, November 5 for Melbourne Cup Day. The meeting with carry normal Class 5 prize money.
The program for the card includes the Capelbourne Cup – the order of entry for this event is determined by the fastest race time recorded for each greyhound since January 1, 2024.
Any greyhound that has raced at Capalaba in 2024 is eligible to nominate. Total prize money for this race is $7,700.
Trainers wishing to compete in the Capelbourne Cup are to nominate via OzChase by 9am on Wednesday, October 30.
The Capelbourne Cup field will be graded the same day as nominations for the race close, Wednesday, October 30.
All other nominations for the meeting close at 9AM Monday, November 4.
