RACE ONE

A trick contest to open the card over the middle trip where MISS MUCHO (12) can look to defy the extreme gate. Hitting the line in smart order last time for bronze behind MY ULTIMATE CARTER, a solid tempo will assist her chances of descending on them.

LUVBITE (8) was large in defeat last start when wide for a long way as DUKE OF SCOTLAND darted home along the passing lane. Buried from this gate in the Peak of The Creek Final two starts back, he will need some factors in his favour to find the gate to take his shot.

AQUA SANCTA (6) was closing it out in good order last time when 5m from the winner MIRACLE MOOSE. The gate makes it awkward, but he can look to fire some closing bullets.

COMMODORE JUJON (9) has been super consistent of late, hitting the board at his past three in succession, the latest when runner-up to WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH. He can be joining in again.

SELECTIONS: MISS MUCHO (12), LUVBITE (8), AQUA SANCTA (6), COMMODORE JUJON (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS MUCHO (12) win/place

RACE TWO

Making light work of a wide gate last start, BORELLA (2) was sent hard off the arm to take control and from the front kept them rolling to post a 4m margin. Fitter again following that run on what has been an interrupted campaign, he has the gate to dictate.

GEM PUNTER PETE (1) settled in the running line last start when trying to make ground as THE JANITOR proved too slippery. Buried in the run the starts prior as ATTACHMENT controlled the speed in a Peak of The Creek heat, he has the gate and options to throw it down.

BUSHY BEACH (8) returns from a spell following his last start when trying to take it all the way and finishing just 3m from the winner RAGING SEA. From the gate he will be probing.

TOSSIES SON (9) backs up from Monday where he burrowed through to lead and from the front was able to see them off. This alley makes it a tougher ask, but he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: BORELLA (2), GEM PUNTER PETE (1), BUSHY BEACH (8), TOSSIES SON (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BORELLA (2) to win

RACE THREE

Facing this same gate last start when on the ODM embargo, CYCLONE TONY (7) gained the ticket back into the main draw but again comes up with the outside paint. Setting the tempo and just fading in the latter stages last time, he can press forward to again stake a claim.

AARDIES MONEY (9) sat parked last start at the mile where she was able to grind the leader and then explode away to a 25m margin. Beaten a head the start prior, she has missed the top two twice in her seven starts, one of those when on debut at her only attempt at this trip.

DIEGO DELGADO (2) was attacking the line strongly last time out to get within a half-head of the winner in a strong time. From the gate, he can get handy enough to feature.

DARIN (11) was exposed early before receiving cover and finishing just behind the money last time out. Only 3m from the winner on that occasion, he can be joining in here.

SELECTIONS: CYCLONE TONY (7), AARDIES MONEY (9), DIEGO DELGADO (2), DARIN (11)
SUGGESTED BET:
CYCLONE TONY (7) to win

RACE FOUR

Staring down a hat-trick of victories, BROOKFIELDS BEAUTY (6) draws wide but has been able to overcome the second line in both wins. Sent around to sit parked on each occasion, she was able to grind out the W last start in a slick time. The threepeat looks within reach.

TRALEE MAXIE (8) was eased for position last start to settle three back along the inside at the middle trip. With the gap opening on the home bend, he was extricated into the clear and finished strongly to claim victory. With a similar soft trip, he can fire in the closing challenge.

IMA BEACH BABE (1) has won three of her past four starts, the latest when taking them all the way from the ace at Marburg. The only query is her conversion rate on the big deck.

EMPRESS BYELINE (3) opted for cover last start and when the gap opened in the stretch, she took the passing lane shot to record a narrow victory. Early position will be key to a repeat.

SELECTIONS: BROOKFIELDS BEAUTY (6), TRALEE MAXIE (8), IMA BEACH BABE (1), EMPRESS BYELINE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BROOKFIELDS BEAUTY (6) to win

RACE FIVE

Producing some consistent results but finding wins hard to secure, HATTIES JEWEL (1) looks to have found the right conditions to capitalise. Darting through along the passing lane last start for the silver, she has the arm hustle to dictate her own position.

MAJOR TRALEE (8) took control here two starts back and from the front was able to punch out a PB mile in a narrow victory. Starting from this same gate last start when making a wide run to be 6m from the winner, he can stalk the speed here and look to fire the final volley.

TOBEFAIRTOYOU (9) will have peg line options on offer here where she can secure an economical trip. Beaten by gate 7 last start, she is a podium player.

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (6) forced the issue last start to find the front and once in control over the middle trip was able to see them off. Placed in both prior starts, she is right in the fight again.

SELECTIONS: HATTIES JEWEL (1), MAJOR TRALEE (8), TOBEFAIRTOYOU (9), SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: HATTIES JEWEL (1) to win

RACE SIX

LETS GET SHORTY (1)
does not have the best conversion rate here at The Creek, but he has found the gate and opposition to improve those figures. Making some metres from the running line last start when just behind the placings, he secures all the options here.

THREE MACHS (8) has placed at her past two starts, the latest when using the passing lane for the silver behind the clear out winner THE HARRIS HAWK. With the chance to secure the easy trip again here, she will be probing for the gaps to take her shot.

ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (9) held on for the silver at Redcliffe two starts back and then last time out scored a smart win on the grass at Warwick despite an early error. She is in the mix.

MISTER HART (3) was closing it off in good order last start when 8m from the winner MAN OF ACTION to grab the bronze. Not suited when parked the start prior, he is a place player here.

SELECTIONS: LETS GET SHORTY (1), THREE MACHS (8), ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (9), MISTER HART (3)
SUGGESTED BET: LETS GET SHORTY (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

With the washout last Saturday preventing the Sunshine Stars Final being held, the two trotting features have been positioned on this card. MONTEREY LASS (1) looks to have the class to add a third feature title to her CV in as many starts after winning the Triad two starts back with 12m to spare and a similar margin at hand last start in the Springboard Final. She looks to classy.

DOWN SOUTH DAISY (5) was a debut winner back in September where she made an error at the start. Resetting to find the trail, she pulled clear over the closing stages to post a widening 28m margin. With a tidy trial performance to open the pipes in readiness for this Final, she can look to mount the challenge.

MAROON BELLS (2) was looking at going into the final last Saturday on a four-day back up, but the washout ensures she is given an extra week. Runner-up three starts back at Goulburn, she has experience with 10 starts for the term against her name.

SELECTIONS: MONTEREY LASS (1), DOWN SOUTH DAISY (5), MAROON BELLS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MONTEREY LASS (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

Having done things wrong in his four-start career, SAVAGE STORM (7) was finally able to put it all together last time out when fired off the arm to take control, keep them running and pull away to an 18m margin. With the experience and confidence, he can look to repeat and defy the gate.

SEE THE DREAM (1) broke maiden ranks here four starts back when finishing strongly in the latter stages to post a 5m margin. Hitting the line smartly last start over the 2138, a return to the sprint trip and with the gate to secure the right trip, she can issue the challenge.

EBONY BELLE (2) backs up from Monday where she settled in the running line but did not get warm in the closing stages. Close up behind APRIL IN PARIS the start prior, she has claims.

ROCKSNGEMS (6) has been kept fresh since his last start when breaking maiden ranks with a passing lane victory at Redcliffe. The wider gate in this line up makes it a tougher ask.

SELECTIONS: SAVAGE STORM (7), SEE THE DREAM (1), EBONY BELLE (2), ROCKSNGEMS (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

The scratching brings this field back to just the four starters for this 2YO Trotting Final, with no runner yet to break maiden ranks. BUSTER DAN (5) has placed twice in five starts, the latest when showing nice manners to step to the front and set the tempo. Grabbed by DOWN SOUTH DAISY which pulled clear to score, manners will be key in this contest, and his are in order.

ROMAN SOLDIER (2) resumes from a spell following his last appearance at Menangle back in June when finishing near the rear. Sent North to the Tayla Gillespie stable, he made an error in a trial last week which features a number of these 2YO trotters. If he can trot cleanly, he could be a player.

LAIN (4) has faced the starter on three occasions, the latest when finishing best of the rest to claim 2nd behind the massive winner JUSTABITLIKETHIS. Given a break since that last start, he has trialled in good order to take his shot in this open contest.

SELECTIONS: BUSTER DAN (5), ROMAN SOLDIER (2), LAIN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BUSTER DAN (5) to win
