RACE ONE

A return to the sprint trip from a good gate will be the right tonic for IM BOO (1) to chase another victory. Sticking on for 3rd last start when parked from a wide gate over the middle trip, he likes to roll in front and has the gate to do that here.

SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (9) was better second up last time out when making good ground over the latter stages at the middle trip. Needing the run when resuming, the added fitness and following tempo can see her throw it down.

STUDLEIGH MARK (2) forced the issue last start and continued from outside the second line to find the front and see them off. A front-line gate helps.

APHRODITE (5) should appreciate some tempo here and limiting the early burn, she can look to grab some minor money.

SELECTIONS: IM BOO (1), SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (9), STUDLEIGH MARK (2), APHRODITE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

Tackling a mare’s qualifier last time, ALLNIGHT DANCER (1) was making good metres in the closing stages. 5m from the winner along the passing lane the start prior, she lands the options from this gate to capitalise.

JOANS RISING STAR (4) was building towards something after successive placings and delivered those expectations last time out. Working hard from the second line, she was strong in victory and moving to the front line can see her throw down the challenge.

SHES IN LINE (3) has good early speed and can look to fire some early bullets. Exposed early last start, limiting the burn will aid her chances.

MISS FROUFROU (2) was able to grind out the victory at Redcliffe last start when sitting parked. She can be handy enough to feature again.

SELECTIONS: ALLNIGHT DANCER (1), JOANS RISING STAR (4), SHES IN LINE (3), MISS FROUFROU (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

An open contest here where despite the awkward gate, ARKIN WICKED (6) might just have an enough edge on his opponents. Not suited in a Peak of The Creek heat from outside the front-line last start, this looks within reach.

JACCKA WALLY (4) started off the second line last start and was trying to get warm in the latter stages. Taking an early shot that was denied in a qualifier two starts back, he can get forward from this gate to issue the challenge.

AGOUDA RULER (9) returns from a spell for the new stable. Trialling in good order in readiness for the return, he has podium claims.

TOSSIES SON (3) has been slow to get it together since returning from a spell. A change of scenery and style might be a catalyst for improvement.

SELECTIONS: ARKIN WICKED (6), JACCKA WALLY (4), AGOUDA RULER (9), TOSSIES SON (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

Despite a second line gate over the 2138 last time out, THE TIGER ARMY (4) was able to finish strongly and pull clear to claim a 15m margin. Wide off the track over this trip when midfield behind FILLY THIRTEEN two starts back, he can get handy to stake his claim.

EMPRESS BYELINE (8) rolled forward to sit first over here last start and despite the tough trip, was able to throw down the challenge to get within a half-neck of victory. With the economical trip in behind the speed, she can be looking to make her play.

FILLY THIRTEEN (1) has the early hustle to be in the firing line and comes into this off a last start win from gate 7. Runner-up in both prior starts, she is right in the fight.

LOVIN MISS DIXIE (3) started from the second line here last time out and had the closing power to finish over the top. Settling handy can see her in the mix.

SELECTIONS: THE TIGER ARMY (4), EMPRESS BYELINE (8), FILLY THIRTEEN (1), LOVIN MISS DIXIE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: THE TIGER ARMY (4) to win

RACE FIVE

Easing for position last start, MAJOR TRALEE (3) was soon a long way out of the ground and then could get warm into the contest over the latter stages. Sitting parked and game when under 2m from the winner two starts back, he finds conditions to chase the W.

IDEAL DESIRE (10) has placed at her past two starts, the latest when buried in the run from the inside second line. With a cleaner trip, she could have been closer and her effort two starts back was solid when runner-up. Despite the gate, she looms large in this line up.

SHADYS DELIGHT (4) started from outside the second line last start and was making some nice metres over the latter stages. Getting closer here can see him in the minors.

JUSTROLLINGAROUND (7) showed the early hustle to get to the poles first last time before releasing and holding 3rd. The gates stings but with a strong finishing burst, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR TRALEE (3), IDEAL DESIRE (10), SHADYS DELIGHT (4), JUSTROLLINGAROUND (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

A preview for a $50,000 race next Saturday night with the draw preferring the fillies to get the inside lanes. GOT THE GLOW (3) was a last start winner at Redcliffe when finishing strongly in the closing stages to score. With further improvement, the gate is in her favour.

LEAVE IT TO LUCY (4) put together consecutive victories here, breaking maiden ranks in August and then beating older horses over one month later. Stepping up against experienced open age performers at her past two, a return to her own age can see her throw down the challenge.

MISS CRUNCHY (7) has the ODM embargo following an error last start when tackling open age horses. Back to 2YO company puts her right in the frame.

ULTIMATE ARK (6) was a Redcliffe winner three runs back when easing from gate 4 and finishing best. Kept fresh since a last start 7th behind LEVE IT TO LUCY, he is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: GOT THE GLOW (3), LEAVE IT TO LUCY (4), MISS CRUNCHY (7), ULTIMATE ARK (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

With fast moves out of the machine, MELTON INSULTED (1) can look to take control of proceedings here. Beaten by second line gates at her past two starts, she led them until deep stretch when beaten a half-head here three runs back. This looks within reach.

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (3) showed early hustle but was unable to cross here two starts back when finishing nearer the rear from the running line. Setting the tempo last time when collared late and beaten a half-head, she can get handy to issue the challenge.

AARDIES MONEY (6) was closing out strongly last start when just a head short of victory. That followed a race ending error the start prior and with the right trip, she can feature here.

DASHNDOT (8) has struggled to produce her best in recent starts but should receive the economical trip here and look for some improvement.

SELECTIONS: MELTON INSULTED (1), SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (3), AARDIES MONEY (6), DASHNDOT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MELTON INSULTED (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

A preview for next Saturday’s $125,000 Sunshine Stars Classic where the talented HAPPY AS CAN BE (4) can look to take advantage. Too classy for his older opponents last start from an awkward gate at Redcliffe, he can look to capitalise here.

STAY FOOLISH (10) has landed three wins this term, the latest when overcoming a second line gate at Bathurst to post a narrow margin. Runner-up to the ultra-smart SWEET ON LEXY three starts back, the gate stings for this preview, but he will be in the thick of it.

RACE FOR RICHES (7) was an impressive debut winner when attacking the line from off the pace to score in the final stride. Forced to sit parked last start, back to his own age is a plus.

TAKING A PUNT (1) broke maiden ranks with a dictating win at Redcliffe three starts back, just gripping on for the prize. With the chance of an economical trip, he is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: HAPPY AS CAN BE (4), STAY FOOLISH (10), RACE FOR RICHES (7), TAKING A PUNT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HAPPY AS CAN BE (4) to win

RACE NINE

A winner at five of her six career starts the only miss for COOL AND CLASSY (7) was an impressive and eye-catching 4th in the inaugural Protostar behind FATE AWAITS. Large in victory when returning from a spell last time out, gate 7 should be little issue for this talented filly.

SEASIDE GLORY (2) has hit the board in all four runs since finishing down the line in the Triad Final behind COOL AND CLASSY from a wide gate. Collared in the last stride by that same filly last time, she has the gate to be handy enough to look to issue a challenge.

RUBY RULES (8) has been impressive in successive victories following her maiden breaking win two starts back. Wide off the track last start and still proving too classy, she can be joining in.

SUGAR RUSH (3) trucks North for the Morris stable following a last start 4th in the NSW Breeders Challenge Final. From the gate, she gets her chance to feature.

SELECTIONS: COOL AND CLASSY (7), SEASIDE GLORY (2), RUBY RULES (8), SUGAR RUSH (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

A tricky contest to close the night where MIKIBEQUICK (9) can get the right trip to chase the cash. A winner three starts back from the 1x1 trail on The Triangle, he was beaten for early speed and subsequently buried in the run last time behind AMAMI. This looks a more suitable task.

PRESS STATEMENT (1) was not suited last start when forced to chair up outside the leader, fading over the latter stages to finish at the tail. Midfield from the second line at Redcliffe the start prior, he is on a win drought but looks to find the right set up here to challenge.

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (6) tackled a Peak of The Creek heat last start when unable to warm into the contest. A Redcliffe winner three starts back, he is in the mix despite the gate.

FORGIVE ME (2) faded last start on The Triangle to finish at the rear after starting from the ace gate and well supported. Settling handy, she can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: MIKIBEQUICK (9), PRESS STATEMENT (1), BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (6), FORGIVE ME (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MIKIBEQUICK (9) to win
