Form Analysis: Redcliffe December 12

RACE 1 

SHARP AS CAMM BE (5) looks to be dropping into a much more suitable race. Can be put into the race and looks very hard to beat. 

JADEZ (1) has just moderate gate speed. If she can settle close enough she can close into the placings late. 

FRANKIE GIRL (7) has put a few good runs together placing in her last two starts. Appears to be closing in on a maiden victory. 

BETTY WINKLE (4) was unlucky last start when searching for a clear passage at a crucial stage.

SUGGESTED BET: BETTY WINKLE (4) to place. 

RACE 2 

LARA BAY (4) worked early and was able to secure a good run through the race. Finished off well and if she could find the lead she’d prove hard to catch. 

THREE MACHS (5) loomed up and looked the winner last start in what was a very good effort. Looks to be racing well. 

THREE CHORD RIFF (2) doesn’t possess brilliant gate speed. Was shuffled back last start and didn’t have the best of luck. 

MARKSMAN (6) hit the line well last start for new trainer Brendan Barnes.

RACE 3

TAPTHEKEG (1) appears to be racing well at the moment. Last time he was able to lead he scored a good win at Marburg when able to lead all the way. 

STUDLEIGH DARCEY (7) should get a good run through in the early stages. Struggling to break through for an elusive second career win but he is racing well enough to do so if the runs come at the right time. 

PABLOS ART (3) worked hard last start and appeared to battle away well not to be beaten further. 

TAKE COURAGE (4) has been thereabouts recently. Looks a race she could sneak into the minor money.

SUGGESTED BET: TAPTHEKEG (1) to win. 

RACE 4 

OYSTER STRIDE (1) is a very good front runner and possesses above average gate speed. Can look to drive through early lead them up and take plenty of catching. 

MAYWYN BONTON BOY (7) could potentially be following the early leader in the race. Has speed and will be suited by a soft trip on the pegs. 

JUSTROLLINGAROUND (8) was badly held up last start before hitting the line well. Looks to have drawn to have options in the early stages in this race. 

ROSEANNE RUBY (6) has really impressed this time in. Scored a good win leading before flashing over the top late in her next run.

RACE 5

SHACKOUTTHEBACK (3) has won at Redcliffe previously. Loomed up strongly last start before making an error at a crucial stage. 

KATACHA MAN (1) doesn’t have brilliant gate speed but may be benefited by the inside draw over the 2040 course, 

ARTFUL MAID (7) should get a good run through early if Katacha Man can hold the top. 

MISSTREPO (4) loves the middle distance and should prove hard to beat again.

RACE 6

ROCK SUPREME (1) has been racing better than his numerical form would suggest. Has gate speed and would prove hard to beat leading. 

GLOVER (7) faded late last start into fourth after handing over to Duke Of Scotland mid race. Can secure a soft run again in this race. 

TIGER BY THE TAIL (3) hit the line strongly last start in a race that wasn’t run to suit. Draws to settle close enough and should be hitting the line strongly again. 

BONNIES DANCE (9) took on a strong race last start in tough conditions over the mile. Likes racing at this track and should be thereabouts.

SUGGESTED BET: GLOVER (7) each way. 

RACE 7

ROYAL STUDLEIGH (5) faced the breeze last start and proved too strong there. Had been in good form leading into that win and this doesn’t look a lot tougher. 

TOMMY BLIGH (2) could potentially work to the front. He is going better than his numerical form would suggest. 

SHES CLASSY (6) was able to get clear last start after sitting on the leaders back and proved too good. Draws awkwardly but still looks a hope. 

SHE OWNS THE DAY (8) did plenty wrong last start after working early and over racing. She finished off well into second.

SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL STUDLEIGH (5) to win. 

RACE 8

MOMENTUM SWING (8) ran on strongly last start in a slowly run race. Looks a suitable race and he should be hard to beat with any tempo. 

IDEAL ASSASSIN (1) zipped to the front in the early stages before bowling along and just getting tired late. This looks an easier assignment. 

ARNOLD STREET (7) looks likely to get a good run through early. Ran well for second last start. 

STUDLEIGH MARK (4) took on a strong race last start where he found the pegs and just couldn’t quite reel in the winner.
