RACE ONE

Building towards a win with some tidy efforts, KYVALLEY FINN (10) was able to deliver the goods here last start when powering home over the top to claim a narrow margin. Placed in both prior starts, he goes back another 10m here, but some winning confidence can help.

HOLD MY HAT DOUG (11) held on for the bronze in the Redcliffe Christmas Cup two starts back and was given a freshen. Returning last time out when making an error as the punters elect under mobile conditions, good manners can see him challenge here.

WHIRLWIND WILBUR (4) was fresh up when tackling mobile conditions two starts back and finishing just behind the money Not too far off them last time he can chime in here.

MELPARK MAGIC (7) has been thereabouts in recent starts without landing a breakthrough. Sent around to park out last start off this same k, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: KYVALLEY FINN (10), HOLD MY HAT DOUG (11), WHIRLWIND WILBUR (4), MELPARK MAGIC (7)
SUGGESTED BET: KYVALLEY FINN (10) to win

RACE TWO

Hitting the board in seven of her nine on this deck, GOLDEN SUNSET (9) loomed strongly last start to get within a half-neck of the talented NOT AS PROMISED. Beaten a similar margin the start prior behind HIDE AND SEEK when chasing a hat-trick, she looks the class here.

HAMMER SON (5) bounced back to winning form last start where he was able to overcome a 30m impost to descend on them for a smart victory. Locked away as HIDE AND SEEK proved too classy the start prior, he finds conditions to challenge.

THEBESTBOURBON (3) has good speed out of the machine and from this alley can look to spear across to the front. Fading out in tougher company last time, she can feature here.

ITSALLANDOVER (1) should receive the soft trip in behind the speed and will be searching for some gaps to make a podium play.

SELECTIONS: GOLDEN SUNSET (9), HAMMER SON (5), THEBESTBOURBON (3), ITSALLANDOVER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLDEN SUNSET (9) to win

RACE THREE

Just the front line for this race but it looks an intriguing contest with varying form lines intersecting. BRAVENTREACHEROUS (7) returns from a spell following a 2YO season that returned two wins and three minors in seven attempts. He can look to defy the gate fresh.

REAL TIN TIN (6) will be first up in Qld for the Dixon stable after finishing down the line at Penrith last time out. With a tidy trial performance in readiness, he is afforded no favours from the wide gate but can look to throw down a challenge fresh.

TALKER JAE WALKER (1) should receive the soft trip from this gate and can grab some minor money with an economical run following successive placings at the mile and 2138.

BOSTON BRONSKI (5) steps up from what she has met in her two runs since resuming from a spell. Cashing in last time at Redcliffe, she can look to take another step here.

SELECTIONS: BRAVENTREACHEROUS (7), REAL TIN TIN (6), TALKER JAE WALKER (1), BOSTON BRONSKI (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

There could be some good early heat in this battle and LENNY LINCOLN (6) will be hoping that is the scenario that unfolds. First up for the new barn last time when sprinting hard in the closing stages in a strong last 800 to arrive, he can float early and look to rattle late.

INDI AIR TONIGHT (5) overcame a wide gate to sweep home late for the W here last time out, her second win at The Creek, with both victories over the middle trip. A gritty 2nd here three back when parked from a wide gate at the mile, she can look to challenge again here.

TEST OF FIRE (2) weas chasing a hat-trick of wins last start when leading them into the stretch before BORSELLINO went past after sitting on him throughout. He can make a play again here.

KASH TIN (3) was luckless last start when buried in the run and hitting traffic when looking for a way clear. A tough run when parked the start prior, he can be thereabouts here.

SELECTIONS: LENNY LINCOLN (6), INDI AIR TONIGHT (5), TEST OF FIRE (2), KASH TIN (3)
SUGGESTED BET: LENNY LINCOLN (6) to win

RACE FIVE

An open contest here where POCKET BOOK (4) might just be able to sneak away with her second win here at HQ. Making an impression in the closing stages last start when 3rd after retreating from a wide gate, her previous two were in mare’s qualifiers.

SIGNOR JUJON (1) has been runner-up at his past two outings, the latest when chasing from the trail behind BLUE BLOODZ. Just a head away two starts back when sitting parked, he can get the right trip to throw down another challenge here.

JUSTROLLINGAROUND (2) was a beaten fav last start when forced to park out over the mile and finishing midfield. Placed in both prior outings, she is a podium player here.

BLUE BLOODZ (7) made the most of conditions last start to work to the front and once in control was able to see them off with 5m to spare. He meets the same grade, but the gate stings.

SELECTIONS: POCKET BOOK (4), SIGNOR JUJON (1), JUSTROLLINGAROUND (2), BLUE BLOODZ (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
POCKET BOOK (4) to win

RACE SIX

Coming up with the perfect gate can be the ideal scenario for LA SABINA (1) to chase the victory. Releasing last start at the middle trip when finishing midfield, the start prior a second line gate and tardy manners were against her. This looks within reach.

POWERMOVE (4) gives away experience to his rivals and is on the back up after a last start fade out at the middle trip. Trying to see them off from the front here two starts back when 4m astern of the winner DAGGY LAMB, a return to the mile can see him get forward to challenge.

HIGHLY RESPECTED (8) should secure an economical trip from this gate and will be searching for the openings to make a podium play.

YANKEE C J (6) was in the chasing pack here last start in a race where nothing made ground from the rear. Under 4m from the winner two back, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: LA SABINA (1), POWERMOVE (4), HIGHLY RESPECTED (8), YANKEE C J (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 1-4-6-8

RACE SEVEN

The outside gate will be no luxury for SOEXTRA (7); however, he might just have enough of a fitness edge to capitalise. Hitting the line strongly last start behind BOOTS ELECTRIC when 3rd, he was too classy in front the start prior in Saturday night company.

ROYAL SPEECH (6) will be first up since October when sent for a break after finishing down the line in a strong Band 4 event taken out by ARODA. Looing sharp when trialling in readiness for the return, he strikes the right contest to challenge fresh.

LAST TIME JOE (3) will be fresh up at his first run for the year after chasing home OUR MAJOR DAY on a wet track last start. He can be making a closing raid.

CAPTAIN NEMO (1) was searching for the gaps here last week when just behind the money as BOOTS ELECTRIC cashed in. With the right trip in behind the speed, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: SOEXTRA (7), ROYAL SPEECH (6), LAST TIME JOE (3), CAPTAIN NEMO (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SOEXTRA (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

Despite the outside second line gate, CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (11) should hold enough edge to overcome the barrier. Sent for a break after taking the 3YO Triad Consolation, he returned in a strong 3YO contest when chasing home DELE ROW before a luckless second up run.

OUR INDIFFERENCE (6) rolled forward to sit parked from gate 5 last start and after the tough trip, stuck on gamely behind KING OF TRUMPS. Runner-up to subsequent Saturday night winner THE MIGHTY SULLY the start prior, he can issue a challenge again here.

TOSSIES SON (1) was first up of a freshen last start when settling in the running line from gate 2 and not really making an impression. Fitter and from the fence, he is a place hunter.

BETTOR ROMANCE (8) should get the soft trip from this gate and be probing for the openings in the stretch to chime in.

SELECTIONS: CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (11), OUR INDIFFERENCE (6), TOSSIES SON (1), BETTOR ROMANCE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (11) to win
