Form Analysis: Redcliffe January 8

RACE 1 

GOODOLDBOYSANDBEER (5) raced well two runs ago in a good mile rate after facing the breeze. He got back in the run last start and struggled to make up ground wide on the track which has been an issue for him previously. 

NAUTIE GALVINATOR (2) was stood down to trial recently. He returned last start and impressed when running on strongly into second. Draws well in this race and appears a similar race. 

BLACKJACK CRIPPA (3) obtained a good run last start up on the speed. He was only able to battle into a distant second there. This race appears a bit more suitable and he draws more favourably. 

ACCELERE (6) has been impressive since moving up to QLD. He draws widest in this race and will be looking to run on strong at the finish.

RACE 2 

OCEAN LANE (5) led last start from a good draw and was too good racing away for a dominant win. Draws wider in this race but looks a race he can find a position up on the speed. 

TULHURST CUDDLES (2) ran into fourth late last start off a soft run. Draws well in this race and despite not having the best gate speed she should find a good position up on the speed. 

KNOCKAWARWON (9) led last start and didn’t finish it off fading late into fourth. He had been running on strongly from back in the field prior to that and looks to get another opportunity to finish off well in this race. 

EMMALEAN (3) ran a good second two starts ago behind Party Changer who has since run well. Hit the line strongly last start when running into fourth.

RACE 3

BETTYS GOOD CLASS (1) led last start was taken on throughout and weakened late into fourth. If she can secure an easier this race she looks a good hope. 

DEECEE ROCKIN (6) went forward in the early stages last start and was caught wide before being forced to the rear. If he can obtain an easier run in the early stages this time he can be finishing off strongly. 

TACKAS LAST DANCE (2) has been in good form scoring a win three starts ago when finishing best. Closing strongly last start into fifth and draws well in this race. 

TORQUE IN CONTROL (8) was given a tough trip last start when working hard after starting outside the back row.

SUGGESTED BET: DEECEE ROCKIN (6) each way. 

RACE 4 

LITTLE BOLT (4) battled on well after racing outside the leader last start in a race won by Bettor Romance. He draws best of the main chances and looks hardest to beat. 

MISTER REACTOR (6) is looking for a hat-trick of wins in this race having scored in his last two outings. He was able to get outside the leader and control those races which he may be looking to do again in this race from a wide gate. 

WOW YOU CAN DANCE (2) faced the breeze last start and battled on there for fourth. Could secure a good run in this race. 

FLO RYDA (1) scored a well deserved win last start. He was luckless his run prior when badly held up at a crucial stage. This looks much tougher.

SUGGESTED BET: LITTLE BOLT (4) to win. 

RACE 5

MARKSMAN (10) was able to find the lead last start and proved way too good there. He draws outside the back row this time which is likely to make things tougher. 

CORNISH SMUGGLER (6) was about to lead last start and battled on well for second. The wide draw makes things tougher this time. 

GET ME OUTTA HERE (5) ran on well into fourth last start. This looks suitable despite the wide draw. 

TORQUE WRITER (8) didn’t make much impression last start. Can bounce back.

RACE 6 

SUNNY COVE (1) is a gate speed horse. He battled away well enough last start behind Candykane. He looks likely to lead and prove hard to beat on this. 

TAURUS BROMAC (7) could secure a good run through in the early stages. He was well beaten last start after securing a good run. May be an improver racing on the pegs. 

PENNIE PACKER (6) returns from a spell in this race and draws the widest gate. She trialled moderately recently. 

HES REGAL (4) took on much harder company two back behind Bronski Zulu and was well beaten. He looks better suited in restricted win company.

SUGGESTED BET: SUNNY COVE (1) to win. 

RACE 7

MOVE HEAVENNEARTH (5) scored her second career win on Friday at Albion Park so appears very well placed in this race for horses with up to one career win. On exposed form she is clearly hardest to beat and despite the wide draw should go close in this race. 

ESTIVAL (6) ran on strongly late last start once clear in better company behind My Ultimate Mario and My Ultimate Luka. She draws wide in this race but looks a hope with the right run into this race. 

FINANCIAL BURDEN (1) has changed stables since his last run. He had a number of chances to break through last time in racing against easier company and couldn’t quite finish them off. 

FANCY LIKE BARBIE (2) was able to string together back to back placings two and three starts ago. Wasn’t beaten far last start in good time for this grade. 

SELECTIONS: MOVE HEAVENNEARTH (5), ESTIVAL (6), FINANCIAL BURDEN (1), FANCY LIKE BARBIE (2)

SUGGESTED BET: MOVE HEAVENNEARTH (5) to win. 

RACE 8

JIMMY BLING (6) has been taking on much stronger company in recent outings. This looks a suitable drop in class. 

BERTILS FIREFOX (8) faced the breeze last start and battled on well for third. He is a very capable sit sprinter and should be hard to beat if able to secure the right run into the race. 

BETTING BARON (10) was able to lead and win last start. Has had success over this trip in the past. 

FEELING THE POWER (7) had excuses last start. This race looks suitable if able to secure the right run through from what looks an awkward draw.

RACE 9

DIGBY JOY (3) ran on strongly two starts ago to just miss behind Rockwithbon Jujon. She did some work in the early stages of that race which should allow her to find a good position up on the speed this race. 

ALICE RHAYNE BOW (7) returns from a spell in this race. Was closing in strongly on a maiden victory last time in recording a number of placings. Her last effort running into second behind See The Dream was good. 

FUNTIMES (1) led for a long way last start and was just run down by Eliarn. Looks likely to secure a similar run in this race from the good draw. 

SISTER JUJON (4) ran a clear second behind Perfectly Quirky last start. Draws awkwardly in this race.
