Following the impacts of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred on the Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club, Racing Queensland and the Club have inspected the site to assess the extent of the damage, and plan a return to regular operations.

Floodwater levels reached higher than 2022, and the CGRC is making every effort to facilitate a return to racing in April, subject to final checks of infrastructure by RQ.

The CGRC and RQ will continue to work closely with industry stakeholders throughout the recovery process.

Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
