The Queensland Greyhound Racing Club and Racing Queensland have discussed arrangements for the first official race meeting set for The Q on April 4, 2025.
A decision has been made to permit only licensed and essential persons on course for this event. Only trainers, handlers, catchers and Club, QRIC and RQ officials will be permitted to attend race meetings.
This measure will remain in place for April, with a view to permitting all participants and public to attend Monday, May 5. This is to ensure the smooth transition of operations, race meetings and to support industry participants.
We are excited to open this new facility to the public and look forward to welcoming spectators in the near future. Further information on public access and future race meetings will be provided in due course.
