
ATA Queensland executive applications open
Applications for the Australian Trainers Association Queensland State Executive position are now open.
The Queensland State Executive primary responsibilities will be to assist ATA Queensland members with enquiries regarding their racing and training needs, queries, and membership matters.
The role will also be responsible for the promotion of ATA membership to Queensland trainers and procurement and retention of the membership base.
Other responsibilities include:
- Attend regular meetings with RQ, QRIC and Clubs in relation to issues affecting trainers – with guidance or otherwise from Queensland ATA Branch Committee or ATA Federal CEO;
- Engage as required with the Office of Racing on relevant Industry matters;
- Represent ATA Queensland at Thoroughbred Alliance meetings guided by Queensland Committee;
- Provide regular communication to Queensland members on important information to educate or remind of rules, regulations, requirements and to advise of your activities and actions; and
- Preparation of Monthly ATA Queensland report for RQ Magazine.
The ATA is a national member based organisation recognised as the principal representative of horse trainers in Australia.
Established in 1967, the ATA is widely represented with branches and members throughout Australia and is underpinned by the Federal Branch.
