RACE ONE With a strong of tough gates or just the wrong map presenting in recent starts, R ELEVEN ART (2) might just have found the right conditions for a breakthrough. Beaten by the second line here on Tuesday, his effort two back was solid behind AIR EXPRESS. He has the gate to capitalise. RACE TWO
Super consistent in recent weeks, TIMS A TROOPER (10) was rewarded here last week when charging home over the top to claim victory at the middle trip. Placed in five successive starts prior, the tempo looks strong enough for him to descend on them again. MANILA PLAYBOY (6) is afforded no favours from this gate but should take great benefit from his last start when returning from a freshen. Taking them all the way to a career PB, he may need to go forward at some stage to chance his arm. BRAEDOS LAD (1) was given a tough trip here last week when sitting parked at the middle trip and throwing it down through the middle stages. Only fading in the closing stages, the gate helps. CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (6) secured the 1x1 trail last start at the mile but was unable to run them down when finishing with the bronze. REGAZZO DI TILLY (9) produced a strong effort last time out when resuming from a spell in a strong contest. Kept fresh since her last start and changing barns, ELEGANT GROOVES (1) comes up with the ideal gate to chase a return to winning form. Buried from inside the second line last start and unable to find space when needed, she has the options here to capitalise. THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (9) resumes from a spell following her last appearance back in November when tackling the Forever Gold. Producing a smart effort when 8m from the winner CHYHNCHILLA, this will be tough fresh up, but she has produced a smart trial hit out. DELILAH ROSE (3) was first up from a spell here last week when firing out early to find the front before releasing. Holding on for the silver when 6m from LULU MAE, she can be thereabouts. SHACKOUTTHEBACK (10) defied this same gate last week when sent around them in the middle stages to sit parked and then hold the advantage to score. This is a tougher ask.

RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (7) completed a three-Pete last start when sent forward to take control at the mile and put it beyond doubt with a sizzling closing quarter. Making the most of the gate advantage to defeat CHYNCHILLA last time the two met, the roles are reversed here. RACE SEVEN There is some good form in the mixed event with some handy 3YO’s looking the dominant players. FRENCH FRIES (3) has had a spaced season with three runs that include a win and a 2nd to FATE AWAITS. With around seven weeks between appearances, his last outing was sharp, and the gate is a big plus. UDDERLY SWEET (4) returned from a spell with a smart effort behind his talented stable mate WAIKAKA MAGIC. Franking that performance when dictating last start with a strong win, he can press forward from the gate to throw down the challenge. SEASIDE GLORY (1) was returning last start when a half-neck from the winner BOSTON BRONSKI. With added fitness and the gate to tuck in behind the speed, she has claims. OUR SWEET DELIGHT (9) found ideal conditions to spear across and take them all the way over the 2138 here two starts back. A gritty 2nd last start, the second line makes it a tough ask.

Runner-up the start prior from the pocket trail, the second line makes it a tougher ask, but she looks up to it. VALLANI MAGIC (1) will raise the bat in this race as she steps out for career start 100. Not helped by a flattened tyre last start, she has the gate to make it a test for the opposition. INDI AIR TONIGHT (6) was snookered away last time and when finding space, attacked the line with power to just miss a cheque. The gate is tough, but she looks up to the task.
SELECTIONS: LIMBO LILLY (3), SWEET OPTIONS (9), VALLANI MAGIC (1), INDI AIR TONIGHT (6) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE NINE Making an error soon after the start at his most recent appearance, GET USED TO IT (4) had his night end before it ever really got started. The run after the error was enormous and the return to the standing start should be in his favour. Off the 10m tape, he looks the one to stop. BERRIESANDCHERRIES (7) was second up here last week when rolling forward to sit parked over the closing stages. Game in her effort to be under 2m from the winner and flying GOLDEN SUNSET, she can throw down the challenge from the 20m tape. SIR FAHRENHEIT (8) was off the same handicap last start when attacking the line strongly in the stretch to grab the silver. With the right tempo, look for him closing hard. BANFF (1) was a heat winner in the McNeil when stepping cleanly from the 10m, pressing forward and seeing them off. With good manners, he can look to maintain the advantage.
