The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

The greyhound BOMBAY ROLLER performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.68.
The greyhound YOUNG DALLAS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.49.
The greyhound GLORIOUS WINTER performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.92.
The greyhound VESUVIO MAGIC performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.11.
The greyhound GOLFING AMY performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.12.
The greyhound COREEN’S LAD performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.46.
Even start with SCORCHING CORNER and ELECTRIC BUNDY slow to begin. Turning into the back straight SCORCHING CORNER and ELECTRIC BUNDY came together with SCORCHING CORNER losing some ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight SQUIRT ROSE HI raced wide. Rounding the turn into the front straight SCORCHING CORNER was tightened for racing room and contacted the running rail when ELECTRIC BUNDY crossed.
The greyhound SCORCHING CORNER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Even start. Leaving the back straight NINA ROSE HI caught the heels of NARRINA causing NARRINA to become unbalanced and lose some ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight MISS ELEGANCE and MACY DIAMONDS both raced wide. Entering the front straight NINA ROSE HI and MONTEIRO bumped.
Race 3 – Maiden Final 331m
Even start. Approaching the turn out of the back straight LADY CORSAIR was checked when SOCIAL DANCER crossed causing it to lose some ground. In the front straight COOL CREDIT and JACK OSCAR came together.
The greyhound SPY MISS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. A warning was placed on SPY MISS in regards to the greyhound’s performance and would be closely monitored in future performances.
Race 4 – Novice 331m
Even start with SMASH TO FEAR and WON MY HEART slowly away. Approaching the turn out of the back straight SHE’S SO CLASSY raced tight on the heels of DAVID’S MEMORY and as a consequence MARLEY MAGIC was checked and lost some ground. Leaving the back straight SMASH TO FEAR raced wide. Rounding the turn into the front straight SHE’S SO CLASSY raced wide and carried DEIJA MAGIC wider as a consequence.
Race 5 – Novice 331m
Even start. Shortly after the start OUR ISLAND HOME, VITAL MISSION and CASSIOPEIA all raced tight with VITAL MISSION being checked and losing some ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight CASSIOPEIA was momentarily tightened when SMASHNIAK CLASS shifted in. Leaving the back straight VITAL MISSION clipped the heels of FAMOUS FOR FUN when this greyhound shifted in.
The
greyhound VITAL MISSION was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind foot and was stood down for a period of 28 days.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade 395m
WARRALI BRAVE shifted in shortly after the start tightening COLROB GIRL which lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight WARRALI BRAVE and BARRIE BOJANGLES came together with WARRILI BRAVE losing some ground. In the front straight IVORY KING checked around the heels of KNOCK HER DOWN.
Race 7 – 5th Grade 520m
Even start with WILDASH REV slow to begin. Rounding the turn out of the front straight WILDASH DUKE and ZAFONIC’S LADY bumped. Shortly after FARMOR SENOR raced tight between ULTRA BLUE and SLASHIN’ PETE. Approaching the turn into the back straight ZAFONIC’S LADY and FARMOR SENOR came together resulting in FARMOR SENOR losing ground.
Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 395m
Even start. Approaching the turn into the back straight BEAU JILLEM checked off the heels of MAKE THE SWITCH, which resulted in BLACK PARADOX and SAKE ROCKS both being checked losing momentum. Rounding the turn out of the back straight BLACK PARADOX clipped the heels of SAKE ROCKS and lost ground. In the front straight BLACK PARADOX clipped the heels of BEAU JILLEM and was hampered.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m
Even start. KATHIE’S FLASH was checked shortly after the start when BILLY’S CRUSADER crossed. Approaching the turn into the back straight MY DIEGO and BILLY’S CRUSADER came together. SMASH EM UP was checked as a result of this incident. Rounding the turn into the front straight SMASH EM UP shifted in and checked MAGIC BLACK DOT. Following a report from the club’s official start MAGIC BLACK DOT was deemed to be a ‘hard to box’ greyhound and the papers endorsed accordingly. After an inquiry trainer Mr. F Harris was advised that he would be required to have a handler box his greyhound in future races.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m
PASO APASO was best to begin. Approaching the turn into the back straight KAPALUA was tightened when SIR BAZZ ATTACK crossed down. SPY QUEEN raced wide in the back straight. SPY QUEEN shifted out and made contact with ALOTA BALONEY.
Stewards advised trainer Mr. K Boan that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 331m all tracks.
