the turn out of the home straight ARDVARK was wide. Entering the back straight DESTRUCTOR and
ERIN’S OWN were racing tight and bumping.
In the back straight FONIC THUNDER checked off the heels of
ARDVARK. On the turn out of the back
straight and into the home straight ERIN’S OWN turned its head outwards and
made muzzle contact with DESTRUCTOR.
In the home straight FONIC THUNDER was wide. Stewards advised trainer Mr. J
Menary that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

CHADOR KAHN to drop back sharply.
Entering the turn out of the home straight SIVAMET and LORRY DRYVA
collided causing LORRY DRYVA to check DOOLEY’S SPRITE, forcing that greyhound
wide on the turn. Entering the back
straight CHADOR KAHN and BRALYN BAUPLE collided. In the back straight CHADOR KAHN checked
off the heels of SIVAMET, causing CHADOR KAHN to race wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight

TORQUE FLIGHT and SPRING BONANZA collided with WAR PICTURE checking off the
heels of TARKS BLACK ROSE forcing GRIN AND WIN and TARKS BLACK ROSE
wide. In the back straight GRIN AND
WIN and TARKS BLACK ROSE were wide.
Entering the turn out of the back straight WINDORAH JACK checked off
the heels of SPRING BONANZA. On the
top turn and home straight TARKS BLACK ROSE was wide. The
greyhound TORQUE FLIGHT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The connections stated that the greyhound
has had a change of diet and the greyhound has to lead. The
greyhound TARKS BLACK ROSE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the off side chest muscle and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |
