Stewards
Trial 1 – 520m The greyhound TURN AND BURN performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.41 and
is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until after 23 March 2016. |

– DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 331M Even start. Shortly after ITSA PATCHY and SMASHNIAK
STORM were hampered and severely checked both losing considerable
ground. Approaching the back turn
FLASHING FERGO was crowded losing its position. Rounding the back turn and entering the
home straight MOCHA CINI marred the running of REGAL VILLAGE inconveniencing
that greyhound and forcing it wider. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. K Kemp that the greyhound MOCHA CINI will be stood
down from racing pursuant to Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence, 3
months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 331m all tracks. A post race veterinary examination
of SMASHNIAK STORM revealed no abnormalities. |

were slow to begin. Approaching the 1st
turn ZALHANI checked off heels losing its position. Into the 1st turn SMACK DAB and
TONY’S A STAR both lost balance with SMACK DAB and ARIA being inconvenienced
as a result. BERT’S SPECIAL, WESTERN
QUINN and ZALHANI received interference through the 1st turn. BERT’S SPECIAL and ZALHANI raced wide for
the majority. |

SULZANTI @ STUD MAIDEN HEAT 2 520M FANCY
THURSDAY was best to begin with ROSE A BELLA slowest. Approaching the 1st turn OBI
KENOBI was checked from the heels of NOIRE CHERIE and lost ground also in this incident NOIRE CHERIE shifted out
colliding with ROSE A BELLA, both
greyhounds raced wide from that point.
Approaching the back turn SHEZA BEAR and OBI KENOBI bumped both became
momentarily unbalanced. |

EASTER THURSDAY @ BRISGREYS NOVICE 520M TINIE TEMPAH was best to begin. Into the 1st turn IMA TALENT was
tightened for room losing its position.
Leaving the 1st turn TRICODE ALL SHOW improved onto the
heels of TINIE TEMPAH, both became momentarily unbalanced. HERE FOR YOU, JOHNNY MELODY and CLAYBRO
NINJA all raced wide for the majority. A
post race veterinary examination of HERE FOR YOU was found to have suffered
an injury to the near hind fibula and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

HORSE & HOUND 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start. Shortly after SHOTOTSU shifted in and IMA
COWBOY shifted out tightening the running of SPLIT SYSTEM, MR. SLY and KING
SIZED as a result SPLIT SYSTEM, MR. SLY and KING SIZED were checked and lost
ground. Leaving the 1st
turn SHOTOTSU and HARA’S BRACELET collided both became inconvenienced. |

SKY RACING 5th GRADE HEAT
2 520M INSIDE PASS and GOLFING AMY were
best to begin with CAPTAIN THURSDAY and DOOHAN TIME slowest. Approaching the 1st turn GOLFING
AMY eased for no apparent reason and lost its position. Approaching the back turn FLYING CIRCUS
raced in restricted room and was severely checked, CAPTAIN THURSDAY which was
following was checked as a result.
Over the final stages GOLFING AMY made contact with the heels SHOW
BOUND both greyhounds became unbalanced. Stewards advised trainer Mr. M
Brauer that the greyhound GOLFING AMY will be stood
down from racing pursuant to Rule 69 (A), Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28
days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

MCCAW MCCAW, GEE MAA and SUNNYSIDE JAY were all tightened and lost
ground. In the back straight GEE MAA
improved onto the heels of HEALTH RETREAT and became inconvenienced. SUNNYSIDE JAY raced wide for the majority. |

ground. Approaching the back turn
