the distance of 331m in a time of 19.74. The
greyhound PUKUTU performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the
distance of 331m in a time of 19.39. The greyhound
MALI COVEK performed a satisfactory Blinker trial over the distance of 331m
in a time of 19.37. Stewards
Trial 2 – 520m The greyhound OUR BEACH GIRL performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 31.36 and
is now cleared all tracks except Casino. |

begin. Shortly after the start HARA’S
LIGHTNING was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight WITHCOTT ACE was
tightened for racing room and momentarily hampered. Leaving the back straight WITHCOTT ACE
shifted out which resulted in HARA’S LIGHTNING and DISCO DOLLY to be severely
checked and lose ground. |

both checked as a result of this incident. The
greyhound COMFORT THE BULL was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

start. MY FIRST SIZE was tightened for
racing room shortly after the start and was momentarily hampered. Rounding the home turn ATOMIC ACE checked
off the heels of MY FIRST SIZE and was momentarily hampered. |

EASTER THURSDAY @ BRISGREYS NOVICE
395M Even start. Shortly after the start ABELE shifted in
and made contact with BARRA FUN which in turn shifted in and made contact
with OUTBACK FLYER causing that greyhound to be hampered. Shortly after HENRY’S FLASH and VIKING
BUDDY were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground, ABELE which was racing to its outside was checked
as a consequence. Entering the back
straight BATTLE READY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Leaving the back straight
BARRA FUN contacted the hindquarters of BORN LEGACY causing both greyhounds
to be checked and lose ground. |

HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 395M Even start. Approaching the turn into the back straight
BIG WINSTON, CONVEX, HARA’S SAMUEL and BLACKWOOD BURST were all tightened
racing room, checked and lost ground. |

SKY RACING 4/5th GRADE 395M Even start. Entering the back straight DAYSEAS RIGG was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. DIAMOND OSPREY commenced to give ground in
the back straight to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the
field. Leaving the back straight GEMMA
DUAL was tightened for racing room, shifted in and made contact with FELIX
EDDIE causing that greyhound to be checked, resulting in both greyhounds
losing ground. Just prior to the
winning post FELIX EDDIE and STANDOUT collided. The
greyhound DIAMOND OSPREY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the off side hock and was humanely euthanised. |

BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE FINAL 395M Even start. MIRANDA ROSE HI and LUCKY SHOT were slow
out. Approaching the turn into the
back straight GRAND ROSIE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
some ground. Leaving the back straight
WILDASH BOY shifted in and made contact with the hind leg of PROVIDENCE
causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose some ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
LUCKY SHOT shifted out and made contact with GRAND ROSIE causing both
greyhounds to be checked. Stewards advised trainer Mr. G Friend
that the greyhound LUCKY SHOT would be charged under Rule 69 (B) Failing to
Pursue plus injury, near side pin, 10 days plus a satisfactory stewards’
trial 395m all tracks. |
