greyhound RUFFY ROAD performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance
of 520m in a time of 30.76 and is now cleared all tracks up to 520m only. |

– DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 520M DELICATE HARRY was best to
begin. Shortly after TEMERITY shifted
in and became awkward losing ground. Into the 1st turn BERT’S SPECIAL
and TEMERITY raced wide. Through the 1st
turn ROSE A BELLA and DASH TA FAME collided, both became
unbalanced. BERT’S SPECIAL and
TEMERITY raced wide throughout. |

@ BRISGREYS MAIDEN FINAL 520M ZABDON LAMBO, WITCH HUNTER and
SMASHNIAK MARCY were best to begin with ARIA and SHEZA BEAR being
slowest. Approaching the 1st
turn TONY’S A STAR and SHEZA BEAR raced in restricted room, resulting in
TONY’S A STAR losing ground and SHEZA BEAR shifting out colliding with SMACK
DAB. In the back straight TONY’S A
STAR shifted out inconveniencing WITCH HUNTER and FANCY THURSDAY, all
greyhounds lost ground. Through the
home turn ARIA shifted out severely checking TONY’S A STAR causing TONY’S A
STAR to fall. FANCY THURSDAY, SHEZA
BEAR and SMACK DAB which were following suffered severe interference. In this incident ARIA continued to shift
out, as a consequence the bitch fell.
WITCH HUNTER which was to its outside received severe interference. Over the final stages ZABDON LAMBO and
SMASHNIAK MARCY bumped on several occasions. A
post race veterinary examination of ARIA revealed
no abnormalities. Stewards advised
trainer Ms. M Johnson that the greyhound would be
charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days
plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. A
post race veterinary examination of TONY’S A STAR revealed
the greyhound to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood
down for a period of 10 days. |

start. Shortly after HARD HAT MICK,
HECTOR THE GREAT, TRICODE ALL SHOW and JOHNNY MELODY all raced tight and
suffered minor interference. Through
the 1st turn HARD HAT MICK checked off the heels of TRICODE ALL
SHOW and lost ground. JOHNNY MELODY
raced wide for the majority. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 0 – 3 WINS 600M GEE MAA was slow to begin. Into the 1st turn ANGRY ALICE
was tightened for room and lost its position.
Entering the front straight TAIPAN’S TIME and EGYPTIAN LASS collided, both became unbalanced and lost ground. Through the back turn GEE MAA improved onto
the heels of HEALTH RETREAT and became inconvenienced. Over the concluding stages HEALTH RETREAT
and GEE MAA bumped on several occasions. |

HORSE AND HOUND 2/3rd GRADE 520M FULL OF ATTITUDE was best to begin
with UP THE ATTITUDE being slowest.
Approaching the 1st turn CHEEKY FREYER, SENOR’S MISTRESS
and DON’T DOUBLE UP all bumped, resulting in CHEEKY FREYER losing
ground. Into the 1st turn
UP THE ATTITUDE contacted the heels of CHADOR KAHN resulting in both
greyhounds racing wide from that point. |

520M ZABALETA was best to begin. Into the 1st turn GUN LEGACY
contacted the heels of BOOM WARRIOR and became inconvenienced, HOUINDEED
which was racing to its outside was taken wider. Approaching the back turn BLITZ ‘EM
improved onto the heels of BIG EASY RED, as a result BIG EASY RED was checked
and lost ground. |

shifted in tightening the running of GOT A BROTHER. Over the final stages SPLIT SYSTEM checked
from the heels of SHOW BOUND. |

Approaching the back turn THIRTY TALKS shifted in and made contact
with SHEZA SENSATION. SHEZA SENSATION
became momentarily awkward. |

the 1st turn FLYING CIRCUS checked off the heels of TRAV’S MAGIC
and at that point ALPHA MIMOS and IVAN’S MATE raced wide. Approaching the back turn FLYING CIRCUS improved
onto the heels of TRAV’S MAGIC and lost valuable ground. |
