AFRICANO were best to begin. MY NAME’S
MINNIE was slow out. Entering the back
straight DOTHRAKI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. In the back straight MY NAME’S
MINNIE contacted the running rail on a number of occasions. Leaving the back straight MR. HESTON was
tightened for racing room, checked and shifted out and made heavy contact
with PUKUTU, causing that greyhound to be severely checked and fall. DOTHRAKI which was racing to its outside
was severely checked. THAT’S MY PIE
was hampered as a result of this incident. The greyhound MY NAME’S MINNIE was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound PUKUTU was vetted and
no apparent injuries were found. |

HOT knuckled over and stumbled and lost considerable ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight ISLA’S OPAL and SHAYLOR JOE collided. CLOVER CHIT CHAT was inconvenienced as well
in the incident. |

FINAL 331M Even start. Shortly after the start WIGGLE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after LENNY BENZ was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Entering the back straight LETHAL KID shifted out and made contact
with HURRICANE HANSI causing that greyhound to be checked and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the
front straight WIGGLE made heavy contact with the hindquarters of HURRICANE
HANSI dragging that greyhound down.
Both greyhounds were severely checked as a consequence. |

for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight NINE HUNDRED shifted out and made contact
with MR. WOODS causing that greyhound to be checked and to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
NINE HUNDRED and SHANAE’S MAGIC bumped.

vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side elbow and was
stood down for a period of 8 weeks. |

SHAYLOR JAKE, SIGN POST and MISS ESPOSITO were all tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. ZAFONIC’S
LADY was hampered as a consequence.
Shortly after MISS ESPOSITO shifted out and made contact with EPIC
HORIZON and KOUKLA MOO, causing all 3 greyhounds to be checked. WON MY HEART commenced to give ground in
the back straight to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the
field. In the back straight when WON
MY HEART was tiring ZAFONIC’S LADY and SIGN POST were checked as a
consequence. The greyhound WON MY HEART was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and
was stood down for a period of 28 days. |
