distance of 395m in a time of 23.17 and is now cleared all tracks. The
greyhound BLACK AQUILA performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the
distance of 395m is a time of 23.07 and is now cleared all tracks. |

begin. BLAZING BENJI was slow to

ground to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the
field. SPRINGFIELD BOY commenced to
give ground in the back straight to finish a considerable distance from the
remainder of the field. The greyhound WHO DAT GUN was vetted
and found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down

out. Rounding the turn into the back
straight BETTER SIZE and MARIO RACER collided causing both greyhounds to be
checked and lost ground. Leaving the
back straight BETTER SIZE contacted the heels of CLASSY BAMQUIN and lost
ground. Trainer
Mr. N Catchpole explained that BOSS HUGO is a greyhound that does not start
quickly in its races and after starting slow in today’s event and receiving
some interference in the back straight he was satisfied with the greyhound’s
performance. He stated that he had to
scratch BOSS HUGO from his previous event due to a spider bite however, after
having blood test carried out which had cleared up any issue surrounding that
bite and he was satisfied that the greyhound would race up to its full
potential. He further stated that BOSS
HUGO has had issues after a foot operation where a toe was removed and it
would be his intention to race the greyhound sparingly. Stewards noted his explanation. |

shortly after the start, checked and lost ground. Shortly after SPRING CRUSHER and IZZY
ELECTRIC were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight GLEBE KID was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after SPRING CRUSHER which was
trailling contacted the hindquarters of GLEBE KID resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked. IZZY
ELECTRIC which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence. Entering the front straight IZZY ELECTRIC
and MONOCEROS collided. |

resulting in both greyhounds being checked and lose ground. Leaving the back straight BRAE HEART was
