GALLON @ STUD NOVICE 520M SUGAR RAY ROSSO and GUY FAWKES were
best to begin with MY SUPER slowly away.
Entering the turn out of the home straight on the 1st
occasion THURSDAY WISH, MCCAW MCCAW and MY SUPER all collided forcing MCCAW
MCCAW wide on the turn and to drop back sharply. In the back straight LUCKY MARLOW was
wide. Entering the turn out of the
back straight LUCKY MARLOW checked off the heels of THURSDAY WISH causing
THURSDAY WISH to race wide. Entering
the home straight GUY FAWKES and FLYING TIGE collided. Approaching the winning post GUY FAWKES
turned its head outwards and failed to make contact with THURSDAY WISH wide
in the home straight. The greyhound MCCAW MCCAW was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found.
Trainer Ms. N Peters was advised that the standard of dress was not
appropriate and a warning was issued. Stewards advised trainer Mr. T
Guymer that the greyhound GUY FAWKES would be charged under Rule 69 (B)
Failing to Pursue plus injury, 1st offence, was vetted and found
to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a
period of 14 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

DOWNLOAD THE APP 5th GRADE 600M LAURYN’S BEST was best to begin with
SPRING DREAM slowly away. Entering the
turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion SPRING DREAM and
SPLIT SYSTEM collided. On the turn out
of the home straight FLAUNT IT was wide.
Entering the back straight CIGAR SAM checked off the heels of SPRING DREAM. Entering the turn out of the back straight
LAURYN’S BEST and CHEEKY CHANCE collided causing LAURYN’S BEST to lose
ground. In the home straight SIDBO
checked off the heels of CHEEKY CHANCE causing SIDBO to check CIGAR SAM. Approaching the winning post CIGAR SAM
turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with LAURYN’S BEST The greyhound SPRING DREAM was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. C
Schmidt that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 600m all tracks. |

MADE THAT WAY checked off the heels of SPRING BONANZA causing MADE THAT WAY
to check GOODBYE HUG causing those 2 greyhounds to drop back sharply. On the turn out of the home straight and in
the back and home straights CY TOLLIVER was wide. The
greyhound GOODBYE HUG was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near fore webbing and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

to drop back. On the turn out of the
