Return to Racing Trial 1 – 395m

The greyhound THRILLA STROKE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.31,

 

The greyhound PERFECT BART performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.58.

 

The greyhound GRANDSON LUKE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.0.7.

 

6 Month Trial 1 – 395m

The greyhound QUEENIES BEST failed a 6 month trial over the distance of 395m.

 

RACE REPORTS

 

1.

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 520M

CHIEF CHEROKEE was best to begin.  RUN LIKE JARROD jumped awkwardly as the start was effected and lost ground.  WALLY KAZAM and SPRING MARSHALL bumped shortly after the start.  CHIEF CHEROKEE checked off the heels of BISHOP’S LASS and lost considerable ground entering the back straight.  SWEET TALK and MODEL TEE bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in SWEET TALK losing some ground.  SPRING MARSHALL and BISHOP’S LASS bumped on the turn into the home straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  SWEET TALK and MODEL TEE bumped just prior to the finish line resulting in MODEL TEE losing ground.

Even start with ARIA and DOWN SIZED UP slow to begin.  COOKIE NO CREAM and SUKHOI bumped in the front straight on the 1st occasion.  PYRO BOB checked off the heels of DOWN SIZED UP and contacted the running rail and fell on the turn out of the front straight resulting in interference to ARIA, SMASHNIAK BARC, SUKHOI and COOKIE NO CREAM.  SUKHOI and COOKIE NO CREAM bumped continuously on the corner from the front straight to the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  SMASHNIAK BARC raced wide into and down the home straight.  COOKIE NO CREAM shifted out in the home straight bumping SMASHNIAK BARC.

 

The greyhound PYRO BOB was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. J Quarman that the greyhound COOKIE NO CREAM would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all track

SULZANTI @ STUD NOVICE 520M

DESPERADO BOY and BELLA LEE were best to begin.  LUCKY MARLOW was slow to begin.  LUCKY MARLOW checked off the heels of CYNO GENERAL and lost some ground on the turn into the back straight.  BELLA LEE checked off the heels of DESPERADO BOY and lost ground just prior to entering the back straight.  DESPERADO BOY checked across the heels of COSMO TRAV and lost ground on the turn into the home straight.  WHERE’S TEJAY raced wide in the back straight.  DESPERADO BOY and BELLA LEE raced wide in the home straight.  WHERE’S TEJAY race extremely wide in the home straight.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5th GRADE 600M

Even start.  SPLIT SYSTEM and MPINGO bumped on the turn into the back straight.  MPINGO raced wide in the front straight on the 1st occasion.  MPINGO raced wide in the back straight.  SPLIT SYSTEM checked across the heels of JETT CLASS on the turn into the home straight.

JOHN PAY MEMORIAL 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M

RUM RAMBLER was best to begin.  DUSTY WAY and GET INVOLVED were slow to begin.   RUM RAMBLER, ARVARK and BYE BYE all bumped in the front straight on the 1st occasion resulting in the 3 greyhounds losing some ground.  ARABELLA, RUM RAMBLER and GET INVOLVED bumped on the turn out of the front straight resulting in ARABELLA and RUM RAMBLER losing ground.  RUM RAMBLER shifted out on the turn out of the front straight bumping ARABELLA and forcing that greyhound wide who in turn bumped DUSTY WAY and causing that greyhound to race wide and lose ground.  ARABELLA checked across the heels of ULTRA BLUE on the turn into the home straight.  ULTRA BLUE lost ground sharply entering the home straight appearing injured.  ARABELLA raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound ULTRA BLUE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

JOHN PAY MEMORIAL 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M

Even start with MOCHA LATTE and BRALYN LUIGI marginally slow to begin.  SIZEABLE and SHADEENA bumped on the turn out of the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  MOCHA LATTE shifted out on the turn out of the front straight bumping BRALYN LUIGI and forcing that greyhound to race wide.  MAGIC FLY HIGH raced wide in the back straight.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE FINAL 520M

SHANAE’S MAGIC was best to begin.   JUST SPIFFING raced wide on the turn out of the front straight.  MR. CODY and SHANAE’S MAGIC bumped at the end of the front straight on the 1st occasion.  JUST SPIFFING raced wide in the back straight.  SHANAE’S MAGIC checked off the heels of BAZZA’S ISSUE and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight.

SKY RACING 3/4th GRADE 520M

MINNIE IMPACT was best to begin.  BOOM WARRIOR, SHAYLOR SAM, ROCKAWAY BEACH and HEIR OF KING were all slow to begin.  SHAYLOR SAM, ROCKAWAY BEACH and BLACK COBIA bumped on the turn out of the front straight resulting in the 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  ROCKAWAY BEACH and BLACK COBIA continued to bump into the turn into the back straight.  ROCKAWAY BEACH checked off the hindquarters of HEIR OF KING and lost considerable ground on the turn into the back straight.  BLACK COBIA checked off the heels of SHAYLOR SAM and lost ground on the turn into the home straight.  HEIR OF KING raced wide in the back straight.  BLACK COBIA eased and lost ground for no apparent reasons towards the end of the front straight on the 1st occasion.

 

The greyhound ROCKAWAY BEACH was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound BLACK COBIA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer’s representative Mr. J Arwood that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE 520M

Even start.  CAPTAIN’S KNOCK, SANDAVE BELLAIRE and COSMO CYNDIE bumped shortly after the start.  VIRUNGA was tightened for racing room approaching the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion resulting in VIRUNGA losing considerable ground and racing wide on the turn.  YES GERONOMO checked across the heels of CAPTAIN’S KNOCK on the turn into the front straight.

 

The greyhound VIRUNGA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 520M

Even start with DOOHAN TIME, FABULOUS HOPE and WILBY DUSTY slow to begin.  General tightening occurred on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion resulting in all runners with the exception of BLUE POINTER being checked and losing ground.  FABULOUS HOPE checked off the heels of DOOHAN TIME and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  TRAV’S MAGIC checked off the heels of SIMPLY MAGIC and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.
