satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.76 and
is now cleared all tracks except Bundaberg. Return to Racing Trial 1 – 331m The greyhound BULK COAL performed a
satisfactory Return to Racing trial over the distance of 331m in a time
19.89. |

DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 1 395M Even
start. Shortly after the start ELLA’S
LOLLIEPOP was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Racing through the 1st turn
ZABDON SENSATION was tightened for racing room, checked and fell as a
consequence taking no further competitive part in the race. HARA’S SAM which was trailing was checked
as a consequence. Shortly after COME
AGAIN JANE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight MOCHA CINI was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
ELLA’S LOLLIEPOP and HARA’S SAM bumped. The
greyhound ZABDON SENSATION underwent a post-race Veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

back straight MON MEKKI KAHN crossed over the heels of HARA’S MAGIC was
checked and lost ground. TEARAWAY
MISSILE which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence and lost
ground. GAB TAR raced wide in the back
straight and again in the front straight.
Approaching the turn into the front straight MON MEKKI KAHN improved
onto the heels of THRILLA STROKE and was checked as a consequence. |

SULZANTI @ STUD MAIDEN FINAL 395M Even
start. Shortly after the start SHAYLOR
LESA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight SHAYLOR LES improved onto the heels of MAGIC MAIL resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
DODSON which was trailing was hampered as a consequence. Shortly after DODSON checked across the
heels of SHAYLOR BETTYLOU and was momentarily hampered. Rounding the turn into the front straight
and through the front straight on a number of occasions GOLDEN MANNERS and
KIKEM STORMY collided resulting in both greyhounds being severely hampered. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD NOVICE 395M Even start with the exception of SHEZ A SONG which was
slow to begin. Through the 1st
turn COSMO TRAV and NOT A WORD collided resulting in NOT A WORD being checked
and lose ground. Approaching the turn
into the back straight NOT A WORD was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Leaving the back straight
NOT A WORD improved onto the heels of OPEN MIND and was checked as a
consequence. |

HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 395M Even start.
Through the 1st turn FONIC FLYER, FARMOR I KNOW and WONDER
BLUE were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
BOLD AS BRASH and HARA’S LIGHTNING collided on 2 occasions resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

SKY RACING 4/5th GRADE 395M Even start.
Through the 1st turn SUNDAY SUNRISE was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight NO SHOW JONES improved onto the heels of
MAYWYN ZILCH and was hampered as a consequence. SUNDAY SUNRISE raced wide in the back
straight. The greyhound NO SHOW JONES underwent a post-race
Veterinarian examination and was found
to have suffered an injury to the near fore toe and was stood down for a
period of 14 days. |

FINAL 395M HYDROGEN and HARA’S SUMMER were best to begin. Through the 1st turn MAYWYN IF
LUCKY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. MAYWYN IF LUCKY raced wide in the back
straight. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight THOMAS ROSE HI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. The greyhound THOMAS ROSE HI underwent a post-race
Veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 395M Even start. Shortly after the start MAYWYN’S ACE and
BILL’S MAGIC collided resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. Through the 1st turn NEEDY AND
GREEDY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after GOLD TOTAL was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight TRAV’S MAGIC was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Approaching
the turn into the front straight TRAV’S MAGIC was tightened for racing room,

GOOD BOY SEAMUS checked over the heels of POPULAR BELIEF and was checked as a
consequence. Racing into the back
straight ZABDON NUGGET was tightened for racing room, checked and lost

WINTER CUP FINAL TOMORROW NIGHT 5th GRADE 395M Even start.
Shortly after the start AGUERO was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. Through the 1st
turn SCAR’S BROTHER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight ZABDON VUITTON and BARCIA BLUE collided, resulting in both
greyhounds being momentarily hampered. When questioned Mr. A Osher the trainer of BARCIA BLUE
informed stewards that BARCIA BLUE is an excitable greyhound and is effected
when kennelled up to and including race number 10. In his view the greyhound races best when
it is in an earlier event and he was of the view that this may have effected
the way the greyhounds performed in tonight’s event. Stewards noted his explanation. |
